As a natural perfumer and aromatherapist, I have been avoiding any products in my work that have sustainability issues, usually surrounded in violence and humanitarian problems, so I am interested to hear the projects you are involved in that will hopefully ease that tension.
Well Thankyou very informative but you have for got one thing to tell us .what kind synthetic oil thay used or what is made of and how can you tell a difference between two product's. Looking forward to get answer . once Again very nice video
That's just not true, saying that most attar is synthetic, no absolutely not aslong as it is from a reputable perfumer in India that make the itar in thier own distillery, majority of Indian itar is authentic and made the exact way it was two hundred years ago
I have a question, if generally all attars are made with a base of sandalwood, then doesn't that mean that the final scent always has that sandalwood smell as a base? So, if you make a rose attar, it has an undertone of sandalwood to it? Maybe that's desirable, as I have seen attars made with a mix of flowers and earth, so the final product is already a blend. I guess if you want the pure scent of the individual plant then you need to look for the essential oil rather than the attar. Would appreciate your clarity on this. With thanks and appreciation, Laura Hoy
Hello Laura! I am a attar producer from Kannauj sandal is used as base because it gives longevity to the attars.there are rooh attars like rooh Gulab(rose),rooh khus (Vetiver),rooh chameli(Jasmine) they are absolute and very costly as 5000kg rose is used to make 1 kg of rooh Gulab.
@@djohnson4465 a good carrier will mix well and not allow the ingredients to settle easily I found grapeseed oil to be best but will try others of course, I'm working alot with pheromones animalistic the big 5 and would be curious to see how glycol would work
@@robertpattinson2065 yea i used it and as the oil comes out of the plants i was extracting the oil from it mixed perfectly well with the Propylene Glycol no visible layers and great for the roll on perfuming and if you want to turn it to spray the alc mix well with it too to soften the thickness

@@shashanktripathi5813 does attars contain alcohol ?
@@hocineted7594 No, Attars don’t contain alcohol , but they can be blended with alcohol for using as a spray or deodorant.
question though why do they use sandalwood oil? can they use something else like vegetable oil?
Sandalwood is primary carrier, grapeseed, also
