I just started the game and this build has been great for a new player, very effective with only the regular gear you encounter in the campaign and the first timelines of the Monolith. Thank you!
Just respecced from VK hammersmite to this and am loving it. It feels so much better not having to maintain sigils - just go out literally shred everything
If the build stacks void damage, why do we want the blessing to shred physical resistance instead of the armor increase from reign of dragons? Also can you explain why you chose those rings, specifically Oceareon?
A few questions I don't understand: 1. You say you want to stack vitality but your build has around 29, wouldn't you want to slam a t7 vitality on your chest/helmet at least? Or is that enough? (looking at the video it sure seems like it's enough but I don't fully understand) 2. Wouldn't a syphon of anguish be better than those rings? 3. What's your opinion about life leech nodes on anomaly? Are they worth it here? Thanks man, the build sure seems fun as hell, will give it a try
1. Vitality is nice to have for extra damage and resists, but I prioritize getting %Health for the additional tankiness on Helmet, since it gives quite a bit more HP than Vit. On chest the +Rive affix is the most important one. It's fine to go for Vit over %health though. 2. You don't need Siphon of Anguish because Apathy's Maw gives all the Doom chance you need. 3. The build doesn't need more leech, since it get's a lot from World Eater. Anomaly is also very tight on the points, you don't have any to spare.

@@volcavids Hi thanks four your guide.Same question about ocearon..Do we need it or do you have another suggestion ? can you offer unique gloves for this build also ? Maybe 'Fighting Chance' Thx.We got void penetration from anguish also health..maybe can use for changing peak with helmet seed 150+ move speed with buff or solo.. Thanks for answers
Did everything according to planner, lack mana a lot after using void cleave for movement. Yes, i do use Rive to kill monsters to recover some mana, but that's not nearly enough. Am i missing something? Edit: i had one passive that procs abyssal echoes from void cleave. all good now :)
It seems to be logical but I don't understand why going melee void dmg with rive as main dps skill The passif only give additional void melee dmg not changing the main dps "origin" Or it's cause echo only made melee void (I can't find the tool tips about it) If someone can explain me plz 🙏
Where to start? I mean like start for the game lol. Using the build guide for when to put what skills where but I would love to know early on what skills go on your bar, how you choose gear (besides just the minimal information on the build guide, for example there is nothing really about chest stat priority vs there is stuff about boots and what not). I don’t know I have a lot of I’m sure noob questions is there a better place to look so I can actually figure this game out?
@@pawelnfm right I am using a guide, but gear that drops at lvl 8 is hard to decipher what is better and what is just trash. For example. A unique dropped for me, it gives +dodge skills, 30 dodge rating, increased movement speed, etc obviously all stuff for a rogue. Then I got two yellows one is increased mana, lunge, increased melee dmg and armor the other is increased mana, dmg reflect, increased health regen and physical resist. Which one of these is better? I’m leaning towards the second one with plus lunge and melee dmg?
Stack resist to always get the cap of 75% in everything then look for main DMG type like melee DMG or Minion DMG depending on which you use the most. Then get you stack atributes for skills you use looking on skills tag. Lastly get + to your skill which can upgrade the tree above level you already have. As you leveling its not the most important thing to get the perfect Item its endgame goal.
You say peak of the mountain + Focused strike gives 100% critt chance. But you put 3 points in Decimation in the Anomaly tree. Any particular reason for that? Great guide and build!
In total you need 355% increased crit chance to cap, so those 3 points allow you to do that. Peak of the mountain just provides the most of the %increased crit.
@@volcavids It's an insane build, I was actually thinking of quitting VK and rerolling a Paladin but this looks so much fun. I'm only level 70 now, can I start playing it now with imperfect gear ? My hp will be quite low.
Sentinel really has terrible defence. Even at 5239 health, you still lost huge amounts of health on bosses. I have 64% armour, all res capped and 3400 health and still get one shot. They really need to increase endurance threshold amounts on armour. It should be able to be the same amount as your health considering you can quadruple your health with ward.
Is this still viable? Im running this and i die a lot to Corr100. My dmg is extremly low. I dont have Apathy Maw. I have a rare 2hadned axe. I have like the starter gear recommended in the Guide on maxroll, but if i compare this to Torment Warlock...this is insane. Its taking sometimes up to 5s to kill a white trash mob. I wuold not recommend this build. I looked over the guide and searching for mistakes on my own..but i cant rly detect anything. Is this buidl actually viable?
+4 Rive is not required at all, you spec Focused Strike early. The last points go into Brutality and Ripples of Oblivion. As for getting one, doing Exalted body armor nodes in monolith and prophecies will help.

melee will forever be the most based option in any arpg especially when u get to make it engaging and fast ☺️👍
You are a true sigma.
Fact!
This is the funnest build I have ever played in Last Epoch - sooooo fun!!!❤
Looks fun, might have to try this next.
Rive GIGACHAD Brotherman!
Awesome build as always Volca !
Started this one today. Rive doing 3k dps at level 25 is Insane. One shotting all regular mobs and rares. Cant wait to go into monos with this.
Just respecced from VK hammersmite to this and am loving it. It feels so much better not having to maintain sigils - just go out literally shred everything
Insane build!
Great guide! Tell me why Ocearon ring though? Why is it good?
If the build stacks void damage, why do we want the blessing to shred physical resistance instead of the armor increase from reign of dragons? Also can you explain why you chose those rings, specifically Oceareon?
still no explanation?
That looks TOO fun
great video! on passives you spent 1 point in Renouncement, why didn't you go for 5/5 rot grip instead?
🥰😍
thanks

I thought the auto crit on third strike didn’t carry over to the echo. Was this fixed?
where does it say rive does void damage?
In Rive tree: Weapon Specialist (+ the two following nodes in that branch) and 2H Axe gives you +melee void dmg.
It seems to be logical but I don't understand why going melee void dmg with rive as main dps skill

Use leveling class guide. You can level even 5 totally different skills later and be good. You can change lootfilter anytime too.

@@volcavidsok, thanks!
very interesting build, mind if i ask at what corruption gameplay was recorded? tnx
The gameplay is at 1000 corruption.
@@volcavids o_O for real ? I though it looked fun but it's probably low level corruption.

How much corruption can it do ??
The gameplay is at 1000 corruption. You can always do more, needs insane gear at that point of course to get tanky enough.
@@volcavids Thx Im back to my VK then - sorc is to flashy for me at the end game when u prock meteors all the time
Is this a build that doesn't require wards?
How do you get the 3rd charge on void cleave?
One from Void Cleave skill tree (top right if I remember) and Darkstride boots give +1 charge
i loved this build. Nice to see that we can play again w/ Rive!
the filter

How?
+4 rive is insane and that is a required for this build to reach almost 100% crit chance. any tips on how to get one?
