Each role requires a different level of drawing skills UI design has its own specialization, so if you don't go down the illustration route you would need less drawing skills mastery
Hi trupti...can someone from IT background move into product design?i am 33...and i have worked a bit in ux ..but i really am interested in product /industrial design...what would u advise?
How to learn these skills? I mean during college life.....how to find structure the info before consuming? Also, wanted to know how did you get into amazon as a research associate, I mean doing engineering, how did you/your resume convince them for skills they required. PS. did you get to go japan for this?
I was studying Japanese in my engineering years, they hired me as a Japanese research associate based on the language skills. Nope I was hired for the Japan team, I did not get to go to Japan. Learning the skills you can start by drawing basic things you see around yourself. There are tons of tutorials on youtube also which teach you about drawing skills. Which skills are you talking about in general ? First you have to know which type of designer you want to be and then develop skills accordingly
Actually, most parts of UX are common sense and it does overlap little with other job roles like having tp do market researcher or integrating business goals..., so what makes the job difficult or not so easy......sorry if i offended you, actually one of my friend commented that the recommendation i gave for website but they said it was common sense and that hit.....sooo is it common sense or not so common common sense
Common sense, it defined differently for each person, based on their living condition, their knowledge level, their backgrounds. It's all about the person we are designing for and what we are helping to achieve for the person. UX in its literal meaning is designing the experience of the interface with common sense for the particular person in mind.
