Is Doing master in UI/UX After Computer Engineering is good? Or should i take some normal course of 3 to 4 month and get a job? I am confused a lot.
Hey Jay, computer engineer lays a strong foundation but you still need a portfolio to prove that you have capabilities to work in a masters program. Its a design program, you need the basic foundation of design or design thinking process, you need to know the knowledge of a tool. My advice would be to check out the entry requirements of each college, they are different

Hello Surekha! One year course cost ranges from 10,000 $ to 18,000 $ depending on the course, college. And undergrad course if 4 years so it will be four times the cost of any one year course. Generally there are some scholarships provided by the schools. But it can be expensive. Preferrably - Undergrad in India, 2 years of work experience and 2 years of post grad would save you money

Nice informative video Trupti! Also to add to this..some of these countries are also having full-time online courses available cause of the change of course delivery due to COVID-19. I really like that you picked up on the employment status in these countries, one of the most important thing to consider for international students.

Hi I am a graphic designer and have 2 years of experience but I want to upgrade my career to UXD and I did a diploma here in India it was 60k for 3 months and it sucked a big time. It was the biggest mistake. I am planning to study UXD next year from Canada. But I need PR then. I am thinking of going to St Lawrence. Is it a good choice and if one year program is sufficient to get a PR
HI Aashna, you need a minimum of a 2 year course for PR, you will get a work permit of 3 years from a year of course. My friend studied for a year, now working here since 3 years and finally got her PR in the 4th year

@निकिता ठाकुर Hi Nikita, there are specific requirements for different colleges for masters, some colleges do require you to be from the same field (either academically or have relevant work experience in the chosen field). Others give you the path of opting for Short courses/ graduate diploma before moving on to masters in case you don’t have required experience, just to give you a hang of what the field is all about, and what all is expected from you.

It will be hard to get into product designing for pg if you doesnt have a design background (since you did physics for your undergraduate)

You can go for a 4 year course and that would give you a better position for visa or you can finish your bachelors in India with part timing on side for design , gain experience here and then go for masters with a strong portfolio which will land you a better job in Europe or any other country. for sure, im from australia and itd be pretty easy for you to study here, your best bet is a eastern state such as queensland, due to western states been really strict and unpredictable with covid laws.

@@beingtrups thanks for the reply but when I was doing research I found there are 2 different courses in waterloo (MDEI & HCI) and Carleton (M.Des & in HCI 3 different courses (Master of Applied Science, Master of Arts, Master of Computer Science) which are quite confusing to choose which one to go ahead with it would be great if you can suggest the university names with course names also it would help a ton to decide...

Japan has a bachelors course, not masters (1-2 years). But you can still check it.

@@beingtrups I will be going to Loughborough this Oct. so can't really share the experience. btw the uni is in UK Loughborough and it has been ranked 1 for the best sports uni in the world so if anybody is into sports can consider getting into it.
