Nice, I recently got Grind Stormer and all the Toaplan games. Been bouncing back and forth between all of them for compare and contrast, however I'm maining Fire Shark. Glad you stumbled on V-V in the menu; Slap Fight also uses the same power up system. It's really cool to see a proto bullet hell on the system (Grind Stormer/V-V).

This really showcases the speed Genesis was capable of. Very little slowdown considering the amount of enemies / projectiles on screen. Impressive!
