@Switch Dolphin Well there was a lad called Wayne Zambra shot off Cork Street in 2006 but I did't think they were brothers. I did find a news article which says they were brothers. To be honest I can't remember. It was a very unusual surname for an Irish person so its likely that they were related plus they moved in the same south inner city area.
@Switch Dolphin Yeah I'm not from Dublin originally but I lived in Inchicore and was very close to the Christopher Zambra killing at the time. I had a friend lived in Drimnagh.
My first time watching one of your documentaries and will now be subscribing, my heart goes out to all the families, the killing of Keane Mulready-Woods was beyond barbaric, and the fact that he was not found whole or in his entirety must be a feeling indescribable to his mother and the rest of his family, living down the country I don't know if even a decent effort was made to find the rest of him. And when the news broke that Robbie Lawlor had been murdered, it was like oh well he made his bed, which is a horrible thing for me to think, but I think a lot of people in Ireland had a similar feeling. And the cup of tea with the mother of the deceased was a story line on Love/Hate and it wouldn't surprise me in the least that he was quite happy with himself to be able to 'live' that out, that poor mother. Good work (and you did pretty well with the Irish pronunciations) and thank you for doing a story which our public broadcaster R.T.E. won't touch with a barge poll for a time - they will eventually but with a retrospective eye.
The Essex Boys were wannabe's but by the same token, justice was never served and people wonder why succeeding generations have no respect nor fear of the law.
Great video. One thing I love about your vids is the sheer amount of different footage and photos you show. And you speak in a way that's interesting to listen to. Seen some other channels that just loop the same 20 seconds of video and drone on in a monotonous voice. It's depressing.
I personally think that the media played a big part in gang wars in the mid 90's to mid 2k's, I knew some of them from school and grew up in the same area and remember some of them being branded and given a persona that they had to live up to by the media, I was talking to one of them that was just labelled a name in a paper and actually said to me "I'm done now, I have to live up to this" and 2 days later he was dead. I by no way say he wasn't "in the game" or innocent but the media was directly the cause of many gangland killings around that time. Interesting videos all the same. I don't watch main stream media or buy papers but this kind of makes sense.
Good job Scarcity. Fair play showing an interest in Dublin gangland. If you knew the carry on over here over the last 20 years you'd have enough material for 2 years videos.

Sometimes it's just in your DNA. I knew a guy that was similar to Lawlor (don't think he ever killed anyone though) but he was very active in the streets. He was not necessarly a bad person but he absolutely had a dark side. I honestly think it was just part of who he was. I knew and realized fast to not hangout with him too much.

The detail is very impressive. Thank you for putting this together. I’m originally from Ireland. I tell me friends here in UK that we have some of the most ruthless criminals in Europe. The Gardai (Irish Police) are determined to smash these criminal gangs and the crowd coming up after them.
I was born in Portugal but came to Boston at a very young age and been here since 1992. The Irish were always the toughest white boys around, Italians just ran their mouth lol. These Irish kids would fight black people in a second unlike any other white boys. Thing is a lot of them became addicts when OCs flooded every city in the US. That was their downfall and when I say white boys I don’t mean to offend anyone. That’s just how we talk here lol. Irish are a lot more loyal but always have a few screws loose so they’re prone to addiction. Now a lot of them turned into full blown heroin addicts, they’re still tough and not to be messed with but that drug made them turn into a shell of their old selfs. Before the drugs though, they’re by far the toughest in Boston. Eventually the Haitians took over where I was from because they had numbers and a lot of them came from poor violent places in Haiti. They were used to fighting and jumping people, almost beating people to death. A lot of them are just huge, we all know black people are just naturally more built and faster. I respect Irish people and my first girl friend was Irish lol.
@@cvgodd1432what’s OC? But yeah, as an Irishman, I agree with you. Tough as fuck, hard as nails, afraid of nothing, but definitely prone to addiction unfortunately. Don’t know what it is about us nor why it happens, but definitely prone to addiction. Interesting to hear that from an outside perspective.

One minute he's handing out jerseys to kids, the next he's trying to kill his ex's new boyfriend's mum, wild haha
Also hes kissing the supposed birth place of Jesus and hes murdered more than 6 men. Not sure Jesus would approve such behaviour :)
L Ll one minute jersey to kids next minute he’s dismembering one and taking videos of it..
Thought that was ander herrara wtf🤣
Why don't you reckon RTE will touch the story? Corrupt Garda maybe? I'm not up on this at all so genuinely curious. Respect.
That boy had it coming petrol bombing people's houses with kids inside, playing a man's game he was and got chewed up.
Dirty nacker cunts
He done that in real life before that even happened on love hate
That kid also made his bed. 2 scumbags less.

Great video. One thing I love about your vids is the sheer amount of different footage and photos you show. And you speak in a way that's interesting to listen to.
Seen some other channels that just loop the same 20 seconds of video and drone on in a monotonous voice. It's depressing.
Another amazing analysis from scarcity studies very underated
I personally think that the media played a big part in gang wars in the mid 90's to mid 2k's, I knew some of them from school and grew up in the same area and remember some of them being branded and given a persona that they had to live up to by the media, I was talking to one of them that was just labelled a name in a paper and actually said to me "I'm done now, I have to live up to this" and 2 days later he was dead.
I by no way say he wasn't "in the game" or innocent but the media was directly the cause of many gangland killings around that time.
Interesting videos all the same. I don't watch main stream media or buy papers but this kind of makes sense.
Media plays everything up it’s disgusting
Yep you it the nail on the head there.
It started with the general martin cahill then all these gangsters were labelled with a name like the monk and so on...
Scarcity u r the man an u got some of the most listenable podcasts on here peace bro...from liverpool
Good job Scarcity. Fair play showing an interest in Dublin gangland. If you knew the carry on over here over the last 20 years you'd have enough material for 2 years videos.
Spot on
Great stuff. A lot of hard work to compile all that and also.. Nice narrating style. Easy to listen to.
Respect from Dublin.

Good job on posting this bro, never fails to upload informative videos. I ain’t Irish myself, but most my family is from there, it’s mad how different gangs work there to in England

Man is this Mexico or Irland? The police was/is doing a horrible job there and in this case, WTF!
This shit happens all the time even harder than this check out the irish cartel 😂😂
People really don't seem to realise some of the things that go on in Ireland and involving the Irish (in other countries). Not going to be bait and start talking on here, but do your googles, you'll be amazed.
Fashion-Boozt Norway come on bruv, there’s some madness going on in Eire at the moment, but comparing it to Mexico is a stretch. The Zetas and the CJNG are some real brutal bastards. 6:23 does anyone remember the scene in love/hate where Darren drinks tea with Stumpy’s mam after he killed him? This must’ve been where they got the idea from
Yea mate love hate is all based from real events just events that happened to different gangs
Same with the grave that got dug up like fran wanted to do
That was written by Stuart Carolan over 10yrs ago. Life imitating art and betrayal by the closest to us goes all the way back to Cain & Abel, Judas or even the Sicillian Mafia ✌️

Should’ve known when to get out of that life, surprised it didn’t happen sooner
As if it's that simple 🤦🏽♂️
