I am not against Global Auto brand VW-Skoda but their claims they have designed Car of India & Indians has fallen flat on their face. As they are forced to offer big discount on their 4 models. Primarily because both their 1.0 & 1.5 TSI Engines offers poor Single digit Efficiency in everyday congested City driving conditions. Though their localised Cars are better built than competition. But no match with their true own German Quality Standards.
Very Surprising Both VW-Skoda Cars market share in India are around 1% which is a shame for global brand leaders.
Unless VW-Skoda does not offer affordable Sub 4 Mts CSUVs & bigger midsized 5 members family Cars like Creata they might not sell in big nos.
Tata cars has no refined engines
Tata is good for heavy duty vehicle and some consideration towards SUV.
How can one get corporate discounts, I am in know grade-1 kind of corporate but I don't have any internal information on how to avail it. Kindly suggest if anyone has this knowledge.

These car companies off late started knowing more and more festivals than sanatan people..just to find an excuse to reduce prices , than reducing direct prices 😅. It's an aliance of auto companies decided not to reduce the prices, so everyone is just trying to hide behind some excuses...

7lac to almost 5 year old does not make any sense, car is neat and clean still after 4-5 year car is old by adding 2 lac you will get lot of brand new options. You can also try negotiation last year model from showroom.

@@whyzi6143 correct. But not sure why. There are couple of takers for that 1.5 lt engine and if you see their overall market share in India its less than one percentage. Not sure what VW india is thinking
@@gaurav2263 let me tell you. Even the sales person doesn’t care. Even I am finalizing on the GT variant this month. The maximum discount I am getting is only around 90k. At the time of test drive, the sales person kept insisting to go for 1.0L. I live in Hyderabad and he was adamant that 1 is enough for the traffic conditions. They don’t even push for a 1.5.
@@whyzi6143 Hey man, same here, I also stay in Hyderabad and am planning to buy one from PPS Gachibowli. How much are they quoting you for the edge variants(blacka nd matte gray carbon)? They should also be giving discounts on the 1.5 lt engine options as well. I will tweet about this
@@gaurav2263 yup the same pps gachibowli. Unfortunately there are even lesser offers on edge variants. Also they dont take orders for edge in the showroom. You need to book it on the site and then select the delivery dealer showroom. Also the waiting period is high(they said upto 1-3 months) Whereas for normal gt variants the delivery is within a week(even same day for some colors)
I am thinking of going with lava blue. Last I checked in march the price quoted for gt plus was 23.8 (not including the 90k benefit). But I havent been there since a month
