I'm from Grand Rapids, MI and have seen these guys play around town a few times so to see them on audio tree is pretty freaking sweet! I haven't met all of them, but the lead singer Jason is really cool and down to earth.
It always amazes me just down just how down-to-earth some of these people really are I mean really ranging from local artists around here like kid Felix who are one song away from being International hits to Aurora and all the way up the ladder you know like to Gavin Rossdale push who was just a treat and a delight to me and talk to you too even for just a minute you know like I didn't know what to ask him so I was like how tall are you and he sort of had to think about it and said I think I'm about to take to mate? Idk it maybe he was just a little burn out like he had just smoked a joint and joint or something or maybe smoked a bunch of joints in the past and he's just a burnout, but he kind of had to think about it for a second when I asked him how tall he was. I'll never forget that because I had a Sony Cyber-shot and I took pictures three pictures one with me him and the girl I took and then one of just her and him and then there was one of just me and him and of course the one of just me and him ended up not being saved because the battery died or I ended up running out of memory or something like that but I still have a picture of one of my ex's next to him not even the one with all three of us right only one my heart was on there a lot of people like two dudes and kid Felix what I went to shake Jake's hand he's the lead singer Jake falana and when I went to shake his hand he basically said you know we hug around here and I had to go home and tell my son you know I've got more hugs from rockstars in one night that I've gotten from you in the whole last month
Extraordinary band. There were times when there were musicians of this quality, world stars. Hope they reach more listeners. I'm from Germany, and I haven't heard anything about "Michigander" here. I came across this band just because I saw a movie on Netflix about a missing dog. I hope there will be more of "Michigander".😁
So cool, all the areas they talk about are the best. The lakeshore on the west side is legendary. Keep in mind these guys ACTUALLY play unlike the 60's and 70s's bands whom lip synched almost all their shows.
Great sounds here: band, channel, recording quality, emcee! Discovered through Local Spins (GR), to which I subscribe. New fan here! (FWIW, I'm in South Bend and find Ludington (and the ice cream) about the best of Michigan. Redamack's is a regular stop, too.)
