no me lo creerán pero me concentro mas en el trabajo con ésta banda, como varias otras claro está, pero con esa música uno se siente con mejor vitalidad emocional y mental, genial!
In a world of music sounding like this (Chon, Vasudeva, Tera Melos, TTNG), it can be hard to stand out. But with the use of keyboards and exploring jazzier chord progressions and time signatures, these guys really do it.
Two bass players is incredibly interesting. Also, I feel like a lot of bands in this genre (whatever that may be, math rock?) have few melodic parts and just wank on their instruments 80% of the time. This band, however, seems to be completely focused making every section and phrase purposeful. Essentially, good shit imo
Khan yeah I can agree with that. Even still, as a math rock fan, the bands in the genre I don’t like tend to be focused more on “how can we make this impressive as possible” and the bands I do like seem to focus on “how can we make this as interesting as possible”
Scott Hofmann He normally rocks a gretsch kit. and judging by the rest of the band, they don't seem to care for alternate instruments. They all just kind of use what they have and always have used the same instruments. I would say I am 80% sure it is a gretsch.
Nnamdi is always killing it.
such an incredible group...
Country Doctor, especially this performance, is one of the best musical compositions I've ever heard. Super inspiring. Glad to have come across this.
Two bass players already looks promising
beans. And don't forget about the vibraphone.
wow, glad i clicked on this audiotree session
Audiotree binges are best binges
I come back here often for that section at 11:00 and it gives me goosebumps every time when it hits 11:40
two bass players is so refreshing
My face just fell off, these guys are incredible.
all these players are unbelievably talented
Almost indistinguishable from the album. Incredible.
the bass and drums are magical. oddly enough i actually really like the synth-keyboard stuff too! sounds awesome!
It was generous of him to give the band permission to tune their instruments during the break.
@@zacharystansell1043 Eh he's enthusiastic and does his research. They have much worse hosts on this channel.
@@zacharystansell1043 He's a good ass dude and is always super positive. Chill dude
Some of the members were previously in a now defunct but equally beautiful orchestral-math-jazz band called Renaissance Sound.
Nissim Bloom also loose lips sink ships
Nissim wait WAT I didn't know they overlapped that's sick
Jordan Putt I think the only constant between all three is Steve. but yeah. they're all pretty sick.
I love this! It reminds me of Bill Bruford.
absolutely fucking mindblowing... and the drummer is also and insane guitar player / songwriter? gonna go quit music now
perfection. so clean
bro i am literally just vibing
This is simply jawdropping
I really love this kind of (lets say) jazz music! Guys, you are awesome!
BADASS!!! Been waiting for yall to play in studio!
hyper advanced elevator music
Haven't heard the band yet but now I know I'm in the right place
No man, it's jazz.
would love to hear 27:17 in an elevator
Holy shit! This is awesome! Love seeing someone play an alembic bass too
I wonder if this band has been on the same bill as Snarky yet?? that'd be an insane amount of rad musicianship for one day
Nah theyre on naked allys. Or is that even what you mean by "bill?"
bill, meaning show lineup
darriennnnnnnnnnnn
Brenan Wayland just be sure to host interviews... dont give that baby to just anywho
Darrien Day Tosin! Love your work with AAL
This band is awesome!!!
The 11:40 mark put a smile on my face
this is great! i can hear a little YES in there. Nnamdi is a genius.
Really great composition and musical dynamics. Very enjoyable
I have never seen more talent in my life 11/10 im impressed
no me lo creerán pero me concentro mas en el trabajo con ésta banda, como varias otras claro está, pero con esa música uno se siente con mejor vitalidad emocional y mental, genial!
@@danielsolano2654 es alegremente fresco y técnico jajaj lov it
Finally a good math-rock band that actually composes!
In a world of music sounding like this (Chon, Vasudeva, Tera Melos, TTNG), it can be hard to stand out. But with the use of keyboards and exploring jazzier chord progressions and time signatures, these guys really do it.
the bands you just listed all sound incredibly different from each other
Mallowmari This and CHON are two entirely different leagues. This makes CHON sound like a high school band.
@@Nihilish Chon just makes jock rock honestly, no real depth to it just "haha look at me shred bro"
Never heard of these guys, video came up in my feed. Glad I clicked.
wow i fell in love in the first 2 minutes
Los amo vengan a Argentina!
Te imaginás, estaría increíble
pufff ojalaaaaa, aguante monobodyyyy, pero no van a venir ni en pedo :((
Con suerte llegó delta sleep y me los perdí 😅❤
"Mike Kinsella goes to Jazz School"
Wow, fantastic interplay.
That channel is amazing.
you guys blew my mind, thank you! Also you @audiotree
New album soon can’t wait
so happy to see this
wow. damn. jeez. just wow.
Fuck yes, was only praying they'd be on here one day.
These guys blow my damn mind.
15:35 he said piglet! yes!
Ugh I feel so dumb.
Holy goddamn shit this is good.
Just fantastic.
I clicked because I was intrigued by their name. I have no regrets.
Amazing! Never stop!
so majestic
Woah, so good.
sick band, sick session, even sicker shirt on the drummer omg
This is so good

Check out Via Luna and Feed Me Jack :)
itamarslam Just gave them both a listen. Thanks dad
Meh, a lot of aimless wanking here as well
That's because math rock is more rhythm focused.
Khan yeah I can agree with that. Even still, as a math rock fan, the bands in the genre I don’t like tend to be focused more on “how can we make this impressive as possible” and the bands I do like seem to focus on “how can we make this as interesting as possible”
Amazing band!
its lit
I'm only at the first song and it's already fire.
Omfg it finally happened!
what a fantastic interviewer
it would be so sick to see these guys cover sweep the leg
Amazing!
The dude on the drums can sing/play guitar quite well too.
lost count how many times I've thought "fuck, that was good" already and I'm barely two songs in
Am I the only one who noticed the bass player who said he liked show tunes playing "If I Only Had a Brain/Heart" from Wizard of Oz at 11:28?
Sooooo beautiful
audiotree (not in sound but in the word) is audioslave plus soundgarden
This is modern jazz!
these guys remind me of old tera melos
edit........ Great, busy and very well played
Host looks identical to Lionel Messi and this is the most incredible band I've found in a while
Kareem Shams do you like CHON?
hell ya love 'em
*see 2 basses, instantly click the like button* :D
amazing
This is fucking awesome.
Unreal
Golden
I like it. I don't trust bands with two basses, but I like it.
Oooh, that is nice.
0:47 when u know it’s about to be good
NO CURRY COURIER CAREER IM FUCKING SALTY
Mike Leach same
BEYOND SALTY
NNAMDI da fuck are you doing thereeeeeee!!!!!! im amazed with monobody and YOU MEN!
Phish avant-garde... nice!
last song fucking insane
HOW IS NNAMDI SO TALENTED?????
This isn't even the only non-Nnamdi project he's involved in, which is insane
for the first song was it one bass on guitar and the other on drums?
TWO BASS PLAYERS?! COOL
I like nmadi cause he has that contained and harnessed zach hill style but it’s like cemented on top of drum machine rave music consistentcy.
Amazing, anybody catch what kind of kit the drummer is using?
Scott Hofmann idk.. tiny drumsticks tho lol
Scott Hofmann He normally rocks a gretsch kit. and judging by the rest of the band, they don't seem to care for alternate instruments. They all just kind of use what they have and always have used the same instruments. I would say I am 80% sure it is a gretsch.
nnamdi is sick
Is the guy on vibraphone the violinist of Renaissance Sound? I mean, the ''purple'' sweater bassist is obviously RS's ex bassist!
eggcellent
holy pissballs this is insanity
Return to Forever
