Diggin in the crates for samples is fun. Going buying crap vinyl from boot sales etc is fun. Using samples from previous chart hits is lazy crap. If you are young producer, get out and about and dig, and dig deep. I wish I was still healthy enough to do myself, do be lazy people. And most of all have FUN and experiment.
premo and his dirty back scrible scratch takes me back he took jazzy jeffs scratch and used the line cut switch to scratch instead of the fader thats why it always had that crackle in it djs didnt have the option for quick crossfaders back then and volume faders unless your qbert didnt sound right wich scratching
It's not a secret, Pete Rock, J Dilla, RZA, Dj Premier, Dr. Dre all have albums out with just samples they used and their picture on the front so they don't care. It's more beating someone to use that sound but if it's already done then what does it matter. People also get inspiration from others so somebody can cut up another portion of the songs when they look it up.
You guys know all this information is in the liner notes of the records, right? This guy didn't just figure this out by knowing all the songs and "reveal them to the world" or some shit.
same to you all others... seroius, all you who dissed me watch related videos and that one where preem is talkin about putting samples up.. you might learn something important
ayyo, fuck that. When I hear some superb track by Preemo, I enjoy listening to the original sample later. Im glad that there are some ppl out there who point those sample out. I love Preem, I make some beats from time to time also, but for gods sake, there is no reason to hate ppl who upload the samples! you say "snitches"? thats bullshit. Cuz when someone made a lot of money by using someone elses track, he should share some money with this "someone else"! Fuck, that's so obvious...
Most of these samples werent cleared or paid for... so it is kinda dry snitchin if they wanna come back for some cash... most of the artists are dead though
