Here cuz these beats were all in my head today. Stoupe is big influence on i think many producers now.. Beats like these make u think of different genres to sample. I sample lounge, even prog , moogy type elevator music with sprinkles of music overseas. Stoupe i think had a big impact . just to get your ear to sample what u want not what u think your suppose to sample if that makes sense.

One of my favorites is “agua de dos Rios” by Camilo Sesto. Sample was flipped by producer T.T. For jay z and beanie Siegel for “daddy where have you been” 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 sick sample but the way he flipped it took it to another level

It’s what you do with the sample... you either make some magic with it or turn it to shit. I grew up listening to all these Latino artist in the early 80’s my dad is a músico so I’m familiar with most of these samples but I give credit to the producers that made hits with them because they really brought in their own creativity and made it spark. I’ve heard some good samples turned to shit by trash ass producers
