What is nice about your channel is you cook simple, affordable meals we can all do. Nothing fancy or expensive just hearty and what most over the age 55/60 can afford. Im nearing 70 and so long to retire but can’t make ends meet as a widow on social security alone. I should be blessed I have a job yet jealous of my friends all retired.
I'll be 70 in December and am still working. It's hard having friends and family retired while I still have to work. I'm doing my best to be grateful for a job I like and for a brain that can still keep up with new technology and do the job.

@@susanschuck8124 I can't imagine how tired you must be. Children are exhausting. When I visit my sister and her grandchildren come over, we get tired just watching their energy. I learned to type in school, using the book that you flipped open and it would stand up. Remember those? I work in a doctor's office and am mostly on the phone but I fill in where needed. I really like working with the computer so that helps a lot. I really do enjoy it. Take care. ☺

Hello Anna, I just found your channel 2 days ago and went back to your previous videos to try and follow your story. The similarities of my situation after learning about yours surprises me!! I do not know however why you moved back to your home. Is it because it did not sell? Also, you donated and trashed a lot of your things. After going through that, do you feel better without so much stuff? I have done the same and went to be a minimalist now for the rest of my life! It is extremely difficult to function when you have an illness and severe pain. Most don't understand unless they go through this themselves. You do seem happier now. I pray this continues for you.

What has been laid on my heart is how you feel for God, and how God feels for you. He loves you very much and He wants to give you eternal life. I love oatmeal ! Another of my favorite ways to prepare it is I add dried cranberries the ocean spray ! They puff up and become very soft and add a bit of butter and milk ! Delicious 😋 I highly recommend!

Anna. I also have double stainless steel sinks similar to yours. I purchased an in sink dish drainer that fits down in one sink. I love it. It frees up counter space and the water drains away. It's not for large loads but great for one person. And thank you for the relaxing video and music.

Hello Anna, the snow is beautiful! I live in southeastern Tennessee and in January we got 3 inches of snow and ice. Normally we only see a dusting. I get upset that it snows all around me, but not here much lol. I love creamy oatmeal with brown sugar, and sometimes I add a dash of cinnamon. Stay warm!

Everything needs a little bit of salt for added flavor.

Love the snow! When we lived in Massachusetts I was the first one out the door to shovel the driveway out to the garage. Loved walking at night after a storm, it's so quiet, no traffic and beautiful. Miss winter in New England. Don't like the South!

You mentioned how much you enjoyed the oranges the other day. I was wondering if you get Cara Cara oranges in your stores. If you ever see them try it. They are the best oranges I’ve ever had! My Son got them for me after a surgery. Nothing sounded or tasted good. Charlie got Cara Cara’s for me and they were fantastic! They sell them at (California )Costco in 8 pd bags. It’s a lot of oranges but I seem to finish them while they’re still good. Safeway and other stores have them too. Sounds like I work for them😂👋
We sent that storm your way😮 we were supposed to get 15 inches and we ended up getting 5 where I live in Massachusetts but I still had to clean my car off and shovel twice but I burned off 7000 steps doing it baby😂😂 not bad for a 73-year-old 😮I had oatmeal yesterday I buy the Kodiak oatmeal and make it myself also. aloha anna, wish we had Bowl and basket brands here in oahu hawaii, we got none, all the stores here in oahu hawaii uses there own name brand, wish our stores like times or even foodland would carry bowl and basket, but they use BEST yet brands, junk.
You’ve influenced me to have oatmeal for breakfast in the morning. 😂 I make mine in the microwave, and add butter, cinnamon, and agave syrup. Sometimes a spoonful of apple butter. Toast and eggs. 😋

Love old-fashioned cooked oatmeal; but sadly I can only eat it occasionally, as it packs the weight on me fast. The snow is pretty, but having been born and raised in Iowa (left it 32 years ago), I rarely actually miss it.

Hello Anna, the snow is beautiful! I live in southeastern Tennessee and in January we got 3 inches of snow and ice. Normally we only see a dusting. I get upset that it snows all around me, but not here much lol. I love creamy oatmeal with brown sugar, and sometimes I add a dash of cinnamon. Stay warm!

I love Oatmeal. I get regular kind. I buy maple syrup from Rhode Island. Put in blueberries or bananas.

Hope you had a nice day. ❤ that's how I cook, no measuring just eye ball it, taste, repeat if needed 😅 oh yeah did you put a pinch of salt in the oat. Everything needs a little bit of salt for added flavor.

Hi Anna wow usually we are the ones who get the blizzards in Maine. Today it’s just cloudy and an occasional rain drop.

Love the snow! When we lived in Massachusetts I was the first one out the door to shovel the driveway out to the garage. Loved walking at night after a storm, it's so quiet, no traffic and beautiful. Miss winter in New England. Don't like the South!

You mentioned how much you enjoyed the oranges the other day. I was wondering if you get Cara Cara oranges in your stores. If you ever see them try it. They are the best oranges I’ve ever had! My Son got them for me after a surgery. Nothing sounded or tasted good. Charlie got Cara Cara’s for me and they were fantastic! They sell them at (California )Costco in 8 pd bags. It’s a lot of oranges but I seem to finish them while they’re still good. Safeway and other stores have them too. Sounds like I work for them😂👋
We sent that storm your way😮 we were supposed to get 15 inches and we ended up getting 5 where I live in Massachusetts but I still had to clean my car off and shovel twice but I burned off 7000 steps doing it baby😂😂 not bad for a 73-year-old 😮I had oatmeal yesterday I buy the Kodiak oatmeal and make it myself also. aloha anna, wish we had Bowl and basket brands here in oahu hawaii, we got none, all the stores here in oahu hawaii uses there own name brand, wish our stores like times or even foodland would carry bowl and basket, but they use BEST yet brands, junk.

You’ve influenced me to have oatmeal for breakfast in the morning. 😂 I make mine in the microwave, and add butter, cinnamon, and agave syrup. Sometimes a spoonful of apple butter. Toast and eggs. 😋

Love old-fashioned cooked oatmeal; but sadly I can only eat it occasionally, as it packs the weight on me fast. The snow is pretty, but having been born and raised in Iowa (left it 32 years ago), I rarely actually miss it.

I’m the same way. I can’t even stand the smell of oatmeal. My mom said I was the same as a baby, too. 😂 I wish I liked it because it looks good and warm. I just can’t.
I buy a big canister of oatmeal, and then throw the whole thing away a year later.
