I hope that maybe besides seeing the ENT specialist you will be referred to a pulmonologist because it seems like that spot that had previously been seen on one of your lungs should be definitively diagnosed. All of the symptoms you’ve been experiencing could possibly be the result of the progression of a pulmonary condition, as unrelated as some may seem.

With the prednisone you take 5 the first day then 4 the next and work it down to 1 on the 5 th day. Reread the instructions.

Anna, do you have an air purifier? I’m so highly allergic to dust and mold it was off the charts when I was tested. Last year I bought a medical grade air purifier from Amazon and what a difference it makes! Yes, you have to purchase hepa filters for it, but it’s worth every penny. Please think about it. I think it might really help.

RN. Here is the typical dosing schedule: Day 1 - Take all 6 tablets in one swallow with a glass of water and food (to prevent GERD or stomach ulcers). Day 2 - You’re going to punch out all five and you’re going to swallow them in one swallow, first thing in the morning. Day 3 - Take all 4 tablets at once Day 4 - Take all 3 tablets at once Day 5 - Take all 2 tablets at once Day 6 - Take the last tablet! Day 7 - Take zero tablets. You’re done!

Hey Anna. I would check the instructions on the prednisone. I think you'll probably take more the first day and each subsequent day work down to 1 on your last day as you wean off

Taper your dose from high to low. If your lymph nodes are swollen, you are allergic to something in your house or you have an auto immune issue. I really hope you are still not smoking. Proud of you. I hope things get better and I will keep praying. I pray for you every day.❤

You always always take pregnizone weaning off 6 on day 1., 5 on day 2, and so on. On last day you take only 1. All steroids are like that, check your directions.

Praying that you are back to good health soon. Do double check the directions on your prednisone, please. Others are saying you may be taking it incorrectly which isn't good for you. Check.with an advice nurse, maybe. God bless you and strengthen you.

Hello Anna, sorry that your're having breathing issues again. I believe it's the other way around with the dose of prednisone pills, you should start with the higher dose of pills and then go down until you take just 1 pill ( last dose) , Check that out . I think you should'nt use the nasal passages cleansing device either for now , it can be irritating your sinuses even more. I hope you feel better soon. Rest and stay warm, try to eat hot soups and drink hot tea, coffee or chocolate, it helps to open your bronquial lungs passages and clear sinuses too. Stay very blessed. ♥️🙌🏽✨️

I am a nurse. Please check the label. On a medrol dose pak you normally take 6 tabs in divided doses the first day , then you will titrate the dosing down to one tab the last day UNLESS the physician wrote a different dosing for you.

As an RN, patients usually take prednisone beginning with a high dose the first day, then weening off by one the following days. Please check with you doctor. With steroids it is important to ween off gradually.

I am praying for you dear sister. This is merely a suggestion, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but may I suggest a couple of things? First, please stop saying things like "I can't win..." God's word clearly tells us that we have what we speak in more than one place. Speak life and health over yourself instead, every day. And secondly, if you've never watched Andrew Womack's teaching on healing I highly recommend it. When you know the truth, the truth, which is God's word, will set you free. One more thing I would suggest is to pray for God to give you wisdom and revelation on the matter, the Holy Spirit is our teacher and will reveal things and give us understanding if we ask Him. The biggest thing that opened my eyes and started changing my thinking was when Perry Stone was teaching about the man on the steps of the pool of Bethesda for 30 years waiting for the angel to trouble the waters so he could be healed, but someone always beat him to it because he couldn't move. I always wondered why was it so unfair. But then Jesus came along, asked him if he wanted to be healed, and because he BELIEVED JESUS, then he was healed. That was all it took was believing Jesus. It was such a revelation to me, it was a true light bulb moment for me. That is in John 5: 1-14 BTW. Ask God to give you your light bulb moment. I hope this doesn't offend you or make you feel bad in any way, that you take it in the spirit in which it was given...straight from the heart. Still praying for you! It’s almost the end of the month so you’ll be able to see the specialist and get on maybe a different path to recovery! It must be hard to not be able to breath through your nose. Do you have a vaporizer? Some brands are better, reading the comments may help you decide.🙏❤️
