Happy Christmas to you too. Many years ago I bought a Fuji XT1 all very new and wonderful…except Fuji’s wormy artefacts. A tip i found was to take multiple photos and stack with mean or median. Difference was night and day. A few cameras later and I probably don’t need to do this but still do. Sorts most noise straight away. Great tip to use for phone photos too.
Jamie, after having all my expensive gear stolen in 2020, I sat out photography for a bit. Then I noticed the iPhone 13 and beyond started to get pretty good. Today, I only shoot with my iPhone 16PM. Why? It’s always with me and the sensor and optics are great. Your instructions have taught me how to elevate what the iPhone started.
Great quick video Jamie. I have a set of Reflex lenses for my 15 pro, and this enables me to use the 48mp function for all focal lengths. Have enjoyed all your video tutorials over the last year and have learnt a lot. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and look forward to following you next year.
Sadly I have not been experiencing Sunset or Sunrises where I live that I consider good enough. I currently have 12 images which I am happy with, but I really wanted to reach around 20 to make the sky pack good value. Fingers crossed January brings some great skies here in Norfolk England 😀
As ever an excellent tutorial. I watching all your video your guided corrections are start from fresh, I have to delete mine which can be difficult how have you that as a default
@@jamiermathlin Sorry it sounded confused when you go into transform & guided to correct vertical & horizontals your guide lines from your last setting are clear, where mine are as last used, if I don't delete them in the correct order I sometimes can only delete 2. How do you clear them on a new image so you can start afresh as yours appear. Hope that is to understand
Beautiful picture, Jamie. Too bad you didn't have it in RAW. Obviously, there is no substitute for a REAL camera but I agree, you have "to love the one you're with". Be that as it may, I have found that if I take a good RAW image, using NOT my phones supplied camera software but rather the camera that comes with Lightroom mobile app, which I find, and so does, Dave Kelly, is superior to the iPhone camera app substantially and then use Photoshop Camera RAW filter on it. And then once I am happy, taken it as far as I, then I use one or more of the various Topaz Labs programs on it? The results in terms of clarity, Denoise, Sharpening and enlargement are truly amazing and enable very large prints. And coupled with your skills with Lightroom and Photoshop? My guess is that what you would achieve would blow even pictures taken with a real camera out of the water. But, the real key to this is starting with RAW. I, never, except when I really do not care about the end result shoot in Jpeg for anything and don't even like to save images in the format. Thank you for this video. You alway make me feel like a babe uh the woods when compared to your amazing mastery! 😅
Absolutely, RAW every time, but I thought it was worth sharing this, as many people still shoot in JGP, so this may be helpful, but thanks for the comments and detail regarding your processing workflow, very useful information 😀🎄
I actually prefer the convenience of using the one made by Apple. Only use desktop LR Classic, not mobile. Have not been impressed with the camera in LR mobile.
Thank you for another informative video. I highly value the tips & tricks that you share.
you are very welcome 😀

Merry Christmas, it is such a great tool to use :-D

I am very happy to hear that I have helped, but equally unhappy to hear that your gear was stolen 😞

Hi Jamie, amazing teacher. What’s up with Day Sky Pack? I’ve seen videos over 4 months old where you were saying “thanks for patients, almost there”

Thank you for your kind words, however, I am not too sure about your question ?

For other than snapshots, it’s always Raw on my iPhone.
