    Love the explanation thank you! Only critique is hard to really see the movement with the dark pants and dark lighting.

    super excellent tutorial! is size and type of the bike pedals matters to be able to catch up as the beat goes faster?

    • @GabriellaGuevara
      @GabriellaGuevara  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not necessarily, you'll just feel more secure to pedal faster with clip-ins! ;) I'm about to make a video talking about this topic! ;)

      @@GabriellaGuevara i look forward to that video! and also the length of the arm/crank pedal matters? I measured mine and its 8inches. that my legs get tired right after 2 pedal rotation on a faster speed. that i dont know if i need to replace my bike. or I just probably need to work harder🤪.

    As an Indoor Cycling Instructor for 28 years, I can tell you. This is one of the worst things you can do on an indoor bike. For a novice rider that hasn't developed leg strength and control, it forces the knee to lock out on the downside of the pedal stroke. Ask your participants how their knees are after a few days of your classes. Push-ups, tap-backs, leaning.....it's all garbage. You're asking your knees to absorb the stress that a static stationary bike cannot. An outdoor bike leans and flexes to help absorb those stresses. Anyone with a background in sports science and kinesiology will tell you that this is in no way beneficially significant compared to the injury risk. Create a more engaging class than having to resort to gimmicks to make your class more interesting.
