this is much simpler than Botpress. Im working on starting an AAA with AI bots but botpress is way too complicated. This is much more practical. Thanks for the video!
Exactly - Thats really the major difference with Zapier, its easy to use. Zapier is by far the easiest automation or 'ai' tool to use, though with that simplicity comes restrictions and trade-offs. In most cases, this is a friendly place to start, learn, and understand the key concepts, then dive-in deeper to other tools if you find yourself too limited.

Totally agree! Something like Botpress or Chatbase might be a better fit for you today if you're itching to get a chatbot on your site. Zapier did just launch custom data sources this week though, but I'd still recommend the other tools above Zapier chat for now. XRay also has a service to setup custom bots based off of your internal company data, or tool specific data like Notion or Airtable. But thats not a fully self-serve process currently.
Is it possible to link this chatbot to an SQL database? For instance, if a user asks the chatbot to insert or search for certain "x" data, can the chatbot automatically generate and execute the corresponding query in the database? If it's not currently feasible with Zapier, do you know of any other methods to achieve this, besides creating a custom API from scratch to intercept the chat conversation, construct the queries, and execute them?
