Control/keybind tips: - with map open: Hold Right Mouse to move the cursor /// Click Left Mouse to put a marker /// Scroll Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out. - Stratagem inputs might be on WASD by default. If you change them (for example to arrow keys) it allows you to keep running while calling in stratagems. Ive been playing this game too much and seeing a newbie experience the fun of this game is so wholesome and lovely. Keep diving, cant wait for the next video!!
I have learned that when playing solo, your most powerful weapon, is running away! Even with a guard dog and entries to assist you, nothing keeps you more alive than running for your life to avoid getting swarmed. Also the scout armor helps with not being noticed as fast. Happy diving!
Can I pet that DAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWG? But the Laser only has light Armour Pen sure its indefinitely and therefore glorious against Illuminids but anything else is meh I feel like
And the bullet guard dog is more efficient against the illuminates voteless. It hits headshots pretty good. Meaning the ttk is better on the normal guard dog than the lazer. :)
To place a pin on the map, you hold the right mouse button down and you can move the cursor around. Then left-click to place a pin. Scroll wheel to zoom in and out. Also when you die, you don't really lose your equipment, you just drop it. You can find it again by looking at the map. Your support weapon will appear yellow. Any backpacks you drop will appear white. Several missions have you do things in one place for a few minutes. I would recommend calling in a resupply during those missions (the Geological Survey is one of those). That way you have extra supplies and by the time you are done with that part of the mission, the resupply is already off cooldown. Pro tip: To avoid getting shot by your sentries, you can climb on top of them. That trick works for the Machine Gun, Gattling, and Autocannon sentries. It might work for the Rocket Sentry (sorta...blowback is an issue with that one). Certain support weapons require a backpack for reloading. Either you or a teammate can take that backpack but most people carry it themselves. The W.A.S.P. is one such weapon and so you would need to carry the backpack to reload it but then you can't take the Guard Dog or another support backpack.
Man, i wanted to help so bad while i was watching~! XD At least you got the chance to learn first hand how bad the illuminate are~! The machine gun is very helpful for crowd control + turrets/Sentries.
A note, the illuminate disconnection issues aren't entirely internet connection related. Even people with fiber optic connections in the same state are getting disconnected. It's a severe bug that has prevented me from being able to do multiplayer illuminate missions and many others have the same problem. That said, the dev team is on holiday as is only reasonable so it will still be a week or two until it's looked at properly.
19:57 the way she joined another dude and starts harrasing him XD 1:23:15 And thats EAT is for what? Looking nice? xD 1:27:22 Typical Helldivers2 experience
As you progress in higher difficulties. You'll come across enemies who won't take damage to your bullets. You'll see a little shield icon on them where the bullets hit. That's when you'll need that rocket launcher. Some weapons have higher damage penetration than others. The machine gun can go through medium armor. Eventually you'll fight enemies that require heavy armor penetration. Requiring certain strategems and weapons to kill. Also when looking at the map. All of those red cloudy blob areas are where little enemy spawn points are that you can destroy. Bugs are nests. Illuminate are spaceships. Bots are fabricators. Once you kill them all you complete a secondary objective and you'll notice a lot less patrols. They always have samples at them too. And always look for those shiny yellow beams of lights. They are either a special weapon. Samples. Super credits. Or warbonds. Same with that little storage crate you blew up. And it took me a long time to realize how much faster you run and how long stamina lasts when wearing light armor. You can get out of sticky situations a lot better. And if you are worried about your sentry accidentally mowing you down. You can lay down and it will shoot over you.
Sentries will shoot you if you are standing between them and what they want to shoot. Sentries are not timed, they go away after they run out of ammo. Also if you dont like fighting in the dark, pick missions on the light side of the planets.
I respect you trying to learn on your own merit, it’s very easy to just let sweat-lords carry you in this game. Also, watching you struggle with constitution rifle was hilarious.
The diamonds/ gems on the mini map show up when theirs still samples or value items at the points of interest, and turn to little diamonds when the samples are all gone. Usually it’ll just have samples/super credits, weapons and ammo, but they’re worth checking if you have the time, gotta stock up on samples, super credits usually show up on the lower levels if you want to farm those and run around a map for 10 minutes.
Definitely switch your key bindings for calling in strategems to the directional arrow buttons, so you can run and call in strategems. Radar towers definitely beep. Just turn them until you hear the beep and stop. You can kind of think of enemies as small, medium, and large. Different weapons work best on different size enemies. Lower levels have more little enemies. Higher levels have more big enemies. Bugs are generally the easiest according to most people. If you can, put your sentry on something that has a good view of the landscape for open areas, or on a different level than you. If it's above your head, it will shoot over you, and not through you and have a better view of the landscape to kill more stuff. You're at the level that every couple missions you probably can buy something, whether it's a new gun, strategem, upgrade or whatever. Some support guns come with backpacks, which are on the back of the supply pods. Know which weapons use backpacks, so you don't take a weapon that needs a backpack and then a guard dog. Requisition Slips and Samples are for buying and upgrading stratagems. Super Credits unlock warbonds and superstore items. Medals buy guns, armor, etc. from warbonds you already unlocked.
Kit said Ban-Kai and let it rip. May the Bonk gods save your soul. P.S - I'm kinda proud I can fit 2 anime references and 2 game references within 2 sentences. Pat on the back to me!
For the squids medium penetration is key, the machine gun is great and takes out the Havesters fast if you aim at the leg joints at the top on each side of the head. Also the electrical shotgun is also great for the hordes and overseers.
Armor with the scout perk is almost required for solo, and certain weapons make less noise than others, and that DOES matter. Energy weapons are generally quieter/silent, flamethrower is silent.
Playing solo, get the Eagle Strafing Run. You can kite, draw enemies in, turn and drop it at your feet, and just run back a few feet and boom. Destruction.
i don’t know if she knows but she should pay attention to the weapons that are found on the field to avoid picking up unwanted weapons. she often picks up crappy weapons like the shotgun replacing his assault riffle….LOL😅 tons of fun by any measure‼️
You dropped with the dookie rifle, thats awesome. you dont have to drop RIGHT ON the objective. Its going to be swarming and you wont have a free minute to get your drop in items, especially on higher levels. Try to pick a seemingly open space to start, or extraction if it looks empty and you can leave behind supplies for the evacuation too. When solo, a jetpack will help you out of sticky spots.
1:19:50 Nonsense! Sentries doesnt target helldivers. But they DO target enemies and dont care about helldivers in thier shooting path :D 1:20:52 You should always ressuply before fights, cooldown is not that long, use it! 1:22:17 Yes, they nerfed You becouse you did too well. Jokes aside, i think its becouse this pop up you sometimes call by accident. 1:38:26 This objective can be destroyed by explosives. If you shoot the screens with EAT or explode granade on it, it will clear the objective. 1:45:50 Your dawg saw a bug through the crate and tried to shoot at it (your head was in the way, oops) 1:49:30 These are separate missions. If you complete all the missions, you get to help liberate planets so you need to go kill that chargers if you wanna help... The side objectives on THIS missions are shown here( blue stuff)>>1:49:13. 1:52:05 I have no idea what are those grey super credits but you have a disclamer below these in wierd noodle launguage. Maybe they are some actions you must take to use these legally? I dont have this but im from Poland
rule nr.1 Read what's on your screen. rule nr.2 make sure your loadout contains all the tools you need for the mission and enemy type 2* vs Illuminate you want good DPS weapons like machineguns, and some demolition force. Constitution rifle is neither of those TBH, if you want proper tutorial I would actually suggest Automatons on Trivial. Bugs might feel easier but they are also much quieter, and have higher damage. Meanwhile bots on difficulty 1 only have weak troopers, none of which can one shot you. They will stay at the distance and announce their presence. They also don't have static dangers like acid mines the bugs have or Tesla towers (yes Bots have contact mines but they are easiest to spot, and in heavy/explosion resist armor won't kill you in 1)
You need a better primary because you're using a meme weapon. You also need more stratagems and practice to help you figure out the best loadout that works for you or you're gonna be stuck struggling on trivial. I wish you luck, soldier! For Super Earth!
Never bring a joke weapon (Constitution rifle) to the front line, those were a memoir of celebration for the first galactic war (along with the armor set), not recommended for mission.
The connection thing is a general issue for everybody rn. Only illuminate. You can try switching the host and see if that helps, but its a bug. Them being in Australia maybe increases the odds? otherwise its a general issue
1:16:40 Hey, EAT is anti tank weapon, i have no idea why you love it so much :D You dont fight any heavy armored enemies on this levels, Arc thrower or machine gun is way better pick.
I could swear I saw you pick up some super credits a few times in your videos, but it still shows you have zero super credits. Are you not getting credit? Because every time anyone on your team picks them up you should instantly get credit for them. Also, with bugs, mobility is important, because if the horde surrounds you, bad things happen.
Should pick appropriate weapons for mision and your primary weapon is hardly ever appropriate. It's a tribute to hd1 most don't use it unless they are using it to be a joke. Also with mobs the machine gun would of been better than the eats in this situation.
Homegirl goes in solo for the first time with the constitution of all things. Bless her.
Just a hello from a fan from Brazil! 🤙Thanks for the video, lot of fun.✌
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the super chat!

The machine gun dog is less likely to kill you than the lazer lol
Love that dog
Also medium penetration, but ammo can be a issue.

I never get duped by my own laser but I’ve been one shotted by the bullet dog twice so had to sack it.

worth noting they will go away if you throw too many of the same sentry
I *believe* it maxes out at 4
If you salute the flag while it's rising it will go faster lol

Guard dog putting in work
Playing solo, get the Eagle Strafing Run. You can kite, draw enemies in, turn and drop it at your feet, and just run back a few feet and boom. Destruction.
I just played this 2 nights ago with my 3 sons. Total carnage...totally awesome in every way!
And that's how a new helldiver was born.
This is why I never use the guard dog LMAO
Also, good job soloing. It definitely is the best way to learn
i don’t know if she knows but she should pay attention to the weapons that are found on the field to avoid picking up unwanted weapons. she often picks up crappy weapons like the shotgun replacing his assault riffle….LOL😅

All enimies are attacted to sound
keep pushing, watching someone get better is interesting. I can only be a noob once, actually miss it.
Grenade those tesla towers or use the grenade pistol if you unlocked it. I just subscribed, nice to see another cadet joining us helldivers! *salute*
In my head, Rei is screaming because she told you most of the things that you said, "how do I do this," or "what does this do?"
8:00 "Sometimes i feel like Super Earth..."
Kit your coms are open, best choose those next words carefully.
Tesla towers on Illuminate can be destroyed with high explosives like granades
I’m so shocked to see you using the Constitution rifle on your first solo mission 😂 🫡
Joins Levius’s squad: who the f are you?💀😂
Stamina is affected by armor weight and other perks just keep eye on the white bar at bottom of stream

I got this game for Christmas and I have gotten my ass beaten harder than I ever have before. However, I also had so much fun with it too
rule nr.1 Read what's on your screen.
rule nr.2 make sure your loadout contains all the tools you need for the mission and enemy type
2*
vs Illuminate you want good DPS weapons like machineguns, and some demolition force. Constitution rifle is neither of those
TBH, if you want proper tutorial I would actually suggest Automatons on Trivial.
Bugs might feel easier but they are also much quieter, and have higher damage.

keep going btw, u doing good, u are getting better^^

helldivers are just future hunters, but we decided screw the balance in nature.
if you go back to where you died, you can pick up your stuff. its on the map.
1:37:31 when somebody try to deactivate a broadcast tower by terminal taking so long, it hurts... you can destroy it in 1s with a granade.
Prop towers can be destroyed with any explosives, including grinades
This is so fun and hard to watch at the same time😂
some say saluting the flag makes it raise faster
Lesson one from watching your videos...put headphones on 😂
LETS GO, DEMOCRACY PROTECS

The wasp is an auto targeting rocket launcher it comes with the backpack
The game is good about making everything feel cinematic lol
you NEED to pick up samples to level up the ship
1:16:40 Hey, EAT is anti tank weapon, i have no idea why you love it so much :D You dont fight any heavy armored enemies on this levels, Arc thrower or machine gun is way better pick.
She is pretty cute in her noclueness
Now ur getting it down I see main tip I wanna give u is when you pick a point to land stop landing in danger
Both will u just have to keep enemies away from your left side
min 20: you joined a random person's game
The Constitution is a meme rifle that is absolutely horrible.
This is the way
When doing the tower, listen for the sound cue
Mccburl in game and Steam , I'll run with ya
Drop anti-tank stuff until level 4 or 5
+1 New subscriber. Love watching your team play. I mostly do solo but if you ever want to add Vryce as a friend if you need an old 11B. :-)
This was painful to watch
