I have a 1992 5.0L Automatic can I still use the factory gauges? do you include Y cables to connect your wire harness and also connect the factory plugs?
I’m in the process of installing mine now. However I didn’t realize the TPI and LT-1 throttle bodies are different but easily overcome just FYI incase someone out there was unaware like me
I'm in the process of swapping an L98 based 383 with a Holley Stealth Ram into a gen II Camaro and have a few questions about the 38351 kit. A) Does it provide sequential injection or is it still batch fire like original TPI motors? B) One of your quick guides(ep25) says the ProCal software is only available on LS and power adder systems. With the 38351 being advertised as boost ready, is it laptop programmable? C) I'm assuming the 38351 is based on speed density. If so, how well does it handle larger camshafts? D) Does the kit come with a complete wiring/ECU pin-out diagram in the event the harness needs troubleshooting?
It comes with 3 bar map sensor and is boost ready. The controller comes with it and you can data log and or hook it to a laptop but not needed. I think for the “ pro tuning “ features you have to hook up a laptop but come with free cable and software
I bought one of these standalones a couple days ago for my 88 Firebird 350, the original harness is all jacked up and it has some electrical issues because it was a giant rat's nest at one point. Hopefully this will get it going. I was told the engine and trans is good.
Hi guys from Australia here I’ve got a 1989 Nissan patrol with a 1986 305 tpi Chevy swap, was wondering if any of your kits would work with this motor it’s in I believe stock configuration but is paired up with a 5 speed manual, about a Month ago it killed the previous wiring harnesses and I believe the old f9 haltech ecu has died

FYI from a legal standpoint they won’t be able to advise you on something like this because it defeats all the smog crap hence AKA it’s illegal for it to be in a 94 truck Unless it’s an “ off road show or race car not for street use. But you should be able to get it to work
If the stock tpi fuel pump is sufficient what should the psi be set at? I was told this system requires 58 psi. I know the stock tpi system holds 43 psi?
Batch or sequential fire? Integration with factory gauges? Do you sell it without the automatic transmission sub-harnesses for those with manual transmissions? Self tuning?
This is a batch fire system with a digital tach and speedo output. Kit number 38350 and 38352 are non trans control systems. Yes they are self learning.
@@FiTechEFImedia If I get this kit to run a 700-r4/4L60E,/4L80E, but decide to keep my th400... Will that work? That leads me to my next question. What if I'd like to keep a mechanical speedometer and electronic non-digital tach?

You would only run 4 of your 8 cylinders left or right bank. It’s clearly marked and you would have to be a complete moron not to realize you didn’t hook up 4 cylinders
@@gman2969 you are conflating systems the LS runs 58 psi the fuel pressure you send to your injector is not ecu controlled the FPR you have on your engine is set at 42 psi and you pump will support it that’s what you got. It’s regulated off vacuum and a mechanical spring / diaphragm not the ecu

It’s not batch fire but it’s not sequential either hard to explain

Oh little side note, I’ve got my fuel pump, electric water pump and thermo fans on a switched setup so it doesn’t have to run those
Kits # 38350 or 38351 would be options for you.

If the stock tpi fuel pump is sufficient what should the psi be set at? I was told this system requires 58 psi. I know the stock tpi system holds 43 psi?
This system was intended to run at 43 PSI where as other EFI kits we offer run at 58 PSI.
Whatever horsepower level your engine should produce match your injector size and pump accordingly to support it. The sky is the limit
if i buy the kit for the 4l60e can i buy the harness for the lockup of 700r4 later?
yes you can.
So this does fuel and spark control? Auto tuning?
Yeah you put your information in and then adjust accordingly
