Ho ascoltato più volte questo pezzo e ogni volta emoziona!!. La tecnica è superba e non si discute in nessun caso, ma la melodia, l'armonia e la divisione dei tempi non è solo strepitosa, è di una tale eccellenza da essere inserita tra i migliori soli degl'ultimi 20 anni, confrontato a Petrucci, Nuno, Vai e Satriani non a Babbo natale. Marco è già famoso ma merita di esserlo molto di più ed isegna oggi che non solo è veloce e tecnico ma porta con un enorme cuore nel suonare un emozione che mancava da svariati anni. Qui i complimenti non bastano "absolutely outstanding".

This guy has to be one of the best . If not the best guitarists i have heard in along time , And i have listened to a lot of guitarists let me tell ya . Marco is Absolutely Outstanding his precision and mood in which he plays is very emotional . Just wonder where his passion comes from . Excellent stuff can listen to this guy all day lone . Does anyone know if or where you can purchase his music .

Honestly this is like the pinnacle of rock guitar playing. Diversity, melodity, incredible phrasing, and technicality used tastefully. Marco is a fucking god on the axe. Not human.

He is everything John Petrucci SHOULD have become after Scenes From a Memory. Imagine this style plus JP's compositions with the other members too. Just amazing to think about.
Petrucci's current compositions do not make any sense to me. All those booster sounds made me stop listening to JP. I only listen to Marco now. JP is a great guitarist but the musical rapport with me is lost with him. Glad I found Marco.

John took the speed game too far and sadly got himself locked into that. A huge reason for that is Jordan, John became obsessed in trying to replicate the keyboard lines.
Still coming back in 2021. I remember listening to this over 8 years ago on my brother's account. It had huge influence on me.

I was like… _”ok, obviously this guy plays incredibly”_ but what really impressed me about this piece was the masterful musical composition of the transition starting @ 3:26

Satriani? Don't make me laugh. Satriani is still the same boring guitar player from the '80s, he just put some 4/4 groove in the background and plays over the same licks and pich harmonics everywhere. With just a few exceptions, his composing abilities are nonexistent. Marco on the other way is elegant and technical like old John Petrucci, who is almost pure technical today.
its a mesa mark V combo costs more then the head version..i suggest you to get the head and a 2x12 mesa roadking or a 4x12 mesa rectifier more then the combo..combo sounds a bit boxy compared to the grownling and power of the 4x12 then place a sm57 on cap edge off axis and you have his tone :)

This is kinda false advertising though. I mean, marcos guitar here does NOT have the same pickups as the model you buy, you can see that the stock pickups in the photo at the start arent dimarzio, also hes playing through a Mesa Boogie cab, AND hes freaking Marco sfogli. combine those 3 things, and of course its going to sound awesome.
it's also not a real quilted top, its a venir :(

e fosse Solieri il problema.. diciamo pure che in Italia si considera musicisti gente che è stata "fatta" con lo stampino (da cima a fondo) da produttori/case discografiche, che di talento ne ha poco e niente. E il guaio non è manco quello, quanto la scarsissima cultura musicale dell'Italiano medio. Dove abito io tantissmi trentenni ascoltano musica da discoteca!! Non è un caso che vadano per la maggiori boiate come Xfactor e simili (e che si voti Berlusca!). L'Italia è morta.

No man, he does minor different licks in this than on his album. Also it's not a triple sound it's just 2 guitars. Not beeing a douche here, just telling you this is no fake bro.
From 3:30 and on he makes you fell like it is the fading ending part. But he keeps filling it with never ending genius musicality.

I may be getting this guitar, and I will be planning to put some d-activators in it as this sounds awesome. I was about to put some d-activators in another guitar last year, but I ended up going with a D-sonic and Air Norton. Hearing this, I now know I want them activators. Though I don't have the mesa, and that makes a huge difference!

The american Premiums don't have a middle single coil. I'm actually glad about that. That way we get the neck pickup in parallel instead of neck in split with middle while still having inner coils and both humbuckers.
