Guy sensei was a better teacher to Rock Lee than Kakashi was, and all of the squad leaders taught their students how to manipulate chakra and allow them to walk on water/walls. It's called fundamentals. If anything Iruka Sensei is the best then, since he taught the whole new generation. Other than that, Sakura was trained by Tsunade, Sasuke by Orochimaru and Naruto by Jiraiya. We only saw him teaching Naruto how to summon, and the Rasengan, but they trained for 3 years off camera.
Hiruzen and the legendary sannin are clearly the best teachers, look where their students ended up. Especially Jiraiya who's students also had succesful students of their own for multiple generations.

Sarutobi may have been known as the professor and the god of shinobi but he was a complete pushover. He let the elders and Danzo walk all over him even though being Hokage is a dictatorship. Sarutobi should have taken out Danzo and his root army way before the Uchiha Massacre. It would have saved them a lot of effort in the long run.

When the inoshikacho from naruto’s generation received their earrings from asuma, they said that someone from the sarutobi clan was the one who must train them and give them the earring. Guy sensei was a better teacher to Rock Lee than Kakashi was, and all of the squad leaders taught their students how to manipulate chakra and allow them to walk on water/walls. It's called fundamentals. If anything Iruka Sensei is the best then, since he taught the whole new generation.
Other than that, Sakura was trained by Tsunade, Sasuke by Orochimaru and Naruto by Jiraiya. We only saw him teaching Naruto how to summon, and the Rasengan, but they trained for 3 years off camera.

When the inoshikacho from naruto’s generation received their earrings from asuma, they said that someone from the sarutobi clan was the one who must train them and give them the earring. Following this logic, konohamaru should be next generation’s inoshikacho’s sensei. I know that making him team 7’s sensei is more interesting for the show but it feels kinda not logic to me
