man great videos in this series. I'm considering getting a virago 750 and doing it up. For someone who knows nothing about bikes, this is a great watch . Thanks!
Gonna be using your videos to work on my Virago (2001). I don’t have HALF the experience and knowledge you do, but the videos are very helpful and hopefully I’ll learn a thing or two throughout the project. How many miles did your father’s bike have when you started the project?
Rabid Squirrel Garage Thank you! It’s gonna be a great project to keep me busy through this New Jersey fall/winter. Off the top of your head do you know how much you spent to restore the Virago?
I have a 97 virago 250 and the cam and chain cover on cylinder 2 fell off going down the road and I cannot find the replacement part ANYWHERE. Would you have any idea where to find one??????
Very good, beautiful, awesome color combination, flat black with the piano always fit fine. Can you please help me with the carburetor tune? My bike is drying too much fuel, 18 liters per Km, this with a 250 engine is too much. If you could get me a hand with this I will really appreciate
My best guess is that you are not in the U.S. If true, stay away from gas stations that are small and don't have a big name. Also, you can run something like Stay-Bil in the gas to help combat the ethanol.
@@rabidsquirrelgarage745 Yeah, I'm from Brazil, and here the gas stations suck, the gas is poor and suck too, but I mean the carburetor adjustments to save some fuel, what can I do to not spend too much fuel? Change jets, needle, or something else? Thank you for your time sir.
@@jorge.barcelos You can try to adjust the air fuel mixture screw but I would not do anymore than that. Like I said, fuel additives like Stay-Bil will help out a lot.
@@rabidsquirrelgarage745 thank you brother I really want to build a bobber and I really love the look and what you’ve done where did you get all your bobber stuff rear fender etc. I live in Canada so some part I might not be able to get but.
@@ferrelli76 Most all of it came from Amazon or eBay. The rear fender is the stock fender that I cut down and reshaped. Check out the playlist for every step I took to make the bike look like this !!!! th-cam.com/play/PLWdE9doE8QNAAIABw3OdPIsoMHYWsJmAW.html

Try bikebandit . com -- They have all kinds of stuff and a parts schematic break down of the bike.
Rabid Squirrel Garage I can’t even find the part on schematics. All I see is to order a whole new cylinder :( thank you so much for your help though!

The oil in the engine is for both the engine and transmission.

Красиво конечно. Что будет после попадания в лужу. Вся красота покроется пятнами и отмыть эти пятна не получится.
is that round air filter easy to instal
Yes, just need to warm up the rubber boot some and it slides right on. Here is the video of me installing it! th-cam.com/video/WVl1nrjuuvE/w-d-xo.html
What year is the bike
