i usually save my proper mega-logging session for after i get into the dark forest, since i can also get corewood for my builds and can start replanting as i cut. i will absolutely talk about chests and the joys of logging in the next episode though!
1. Dont be a loser, enable raids. Heck do not change settings for your 1.st play as it will ruin your experience. 2. Building traps for deer and fish is not cheating. Its something people did in old times. 3. Dont be a noob and trow away items when they are broken. YOU CAN REPAIR THEM FOR FREE 4. When you get a 1.st pick, build a moat araund your base. All you have to do is dig down araund your base. It will keep mobs away and you wont get YOU CANT SLEEP DUE TO ENEMY CLOSE 5. Dont build your main base in middle of meadows map. As soon as you can make a 1.st boat, try to find meadows way more down. Reason is due to higher tier pigs will spawn there more frequent and are perfect for farm.
jokes aside, and this isn't attacking you: 1. I'm not your dad, play the game how you want. my experience is ruined by having hours of build progress flattened by the fatsquad 2. people in old times also throw spear at deer get food 3. damn, i should've mentioned the repair function, you right. 4. you can accomplish the same effect by having your beds on an upper floor! 5. I usually build my proper base in the plains because i like the look of the area better, it's a flatter space, and you usually have more structure variety
