Sick video Kevin!! Really captures the incredible vibes that day, it felt like everyone was killing it! Thank you for filming and for being such a cool dude to hang out with on and off the slopes. Hope the rest of your summer is 🔥🔥🔥
TJ is a realtor living in Colorado and runs his own channel as well, mostly doing demos/reviews on snowboarding gear. He mostly stays down there these days. I imagine traveling around snowboarding all over the world was easier when he was younger. I think these two just haven’t managed to link up recently, and it appears that Kevin has not been able to link up with TJ and the others for the Japanuary trip for the last 3 years or so because of other locations he’s been featuring on the channel instead. Life happens haha
Timberline at Mt Hood Oregon is usually open up to the end of August and then closes down until late November when the snowfall starts back up. The area they’re riding is on Palmer Glacier, so it’s not that there’s fresh snow falling, that’s actually super rare this time of the year up there, it’s just that they’re riding on a glacier and so the snow never fully melts during the summer on that part of the mountain. The staff at timberline just runs the groomers and keeps the terrain feeling fresh from one day to the next. It feels pretty good up there this time of the year, neither truly cold or truly warm 😁👍🏼

So glad to see TJ in a video. Intrusive thoughts made me think maybe you guys fell out.
He would have been in this video more but tweaked his ankle cliff jumping.

@@narrowistheway77 He’s a realtor?
Where is this?
This is at Mt Hood in Oregon
There’s still snow in Oregon? I’m from an island so that’s a genuine question 😅
This was from about a month ago, but I think the mountain is still open.

@@narrowistheway77 oh wow! That’s really interesting! I was wondering where I could go when I have that “middle of the year” snowboard itch 🤔
