I was at this concert with my late cousin...it was her first Yes concert, and I was elated to be sharing My Favorite Band Of All Time with her. They put on an incredible show, as always...their first time in Omaha. And of course, the Bugs Bunny cartoon to open the concert was a real rush, too. 🤪🤣
This was one of my favs from this album, and the next track too. Both worked so well during that awkward early-'80s period. Best of the new and old. By the way I always loved to hear the latest stuff, fromevery band, because they naturally were a little bit more into it. And if you don't, well they're no the old farts, we are.
me too i would more video material also official bootleg from a sort of yes archive, and i love big generator i love yes with trevor rabin, i mean i don't dislike the other kind of yes without rabin i am nor crazy neither not intelligent, Yes for me is at Top, part of my highness
Great song Trevor was no Steve Howe but he wasn’t supposed to be ,with almost all of them gone I appreciate them all they are still Bette than that crapp they play these days !,!
moodyblue1964 yeah, sadly I have to agree.. The song is so awesome, but a bit of that awesomeness is due to studio magic, and it just doesn't manifest outside that "perfect" environment. This is definitely my favorite song of the Rabin era, but none of the awesomeness shines through in the live recording. Is this even a SBD capture?
Hell if i know but it really rocks . today was the First Time i actually really HEARD IT . ya can listen to a song over and over and not really hear it . but its that one day when ya mind is so open and everything is crystal clear and ya actually hear and OMG it breaks ya heart its that so amazing
I'm 51 and a long-time YES fan. Final Eyes is a great song.
Aren't most Yes fans, at least a bit glad Trevor Rabin came along? I grew to appreciate him. This was a Fun show. Thanks for the post.
My favorite Yes song of all time.
Totally underappreciated!
I agree with you...I've always loved this album...Certainly a good CD to have in the car on a road trip..
Tempe Az at ASU Activity Center, they played this song.....4th row, I'll never forget it. Holy
lamb was also quite a moment in time live for me.
"You saved me from falling" ....
por fin la encontre
esta es una de las canciones que mas me gusta de yes

I was at that concert too. Incredible show is an understatement.
This song so makes me cry happy tears
One of the greatest Rabin-Era songs...Period!
Chris Kelley Absolutely!! I'd say it IS the best of the Rabin Era.
A GREAT LISTEN!! THANKS!!
Think its awesome that they use the demo opening for this track live...wish I wasn't 6 years old at the time this concert happened.
So hard to with tears in your final eyes.
Check out the holiday movie Jack Frost you'll get a pleasant surprize
Excelente canción, mi favorita de Big Generator.
one of the best track by Yes thanks trevor rabin
Very cool and different intro that they did live for this tune.
You're so lucky! The tour didn't make it to the west coast til next spring. Would've really liked them to have included this. . .
Música que eles deveriam cantar em outras turnês, amo demais 😔🤍
nice post. Thanx.

There is one of this song somewhere, not sure if it's on yt or not, but does exist. If memory serves, it was recorded in the northeast US, PA or NY.
Yes, yes, yes forever..!
Mi oido es chileno y antartico . escucho musica y el mensaje universal del grupo Yes.
Lo MÁXIMO!!! YES YES YES.....!!!
Super band
Don't hide behind the headlights.
Sounds like it was straining Anderson, Rabin's and Squires voices - quite high in all their ranges.
Great song Trevor was no Steve Howe but he wasn’t supposed to be ,with almost all of them gone I appreciate them all they are still Bette than that crapp they play these days !,!
This is a beautiful song. Does anyone know why they dropped it from shows? I saw them in Pittsburgh on this tour. It was an excellent concert.
I think you can hear why. It doesn't really work as a live recording so well. Terrible shame as it is one of my favourite Yes Songs.

Hollywood pays better than Yes...
