At 13:50 @DDS showed why to prefer sedan over SUVs, If you ever need to dodge a sudden object SUVS are bound to be unstable because of their high center of mass
(SUVs unstable kyunki dravyamaan ka uncha kendr).
1.5 TSI will destroy the entire C2 segment, right now its still like other cars in the C2 segment, similar hp and torque compared to city verna, infact ciaz is just 10 hp low, 10 does not even matter when most of the time you drive at max 80. It has similar ground clearance and boot space as ciaz as well. Definitely would be better built and driving better because its a skoda but then again maintenance cost would be higher because of an extra component the turbo. I still think the Ciaz with completely flat second row foot space is the most value for money even though its dated. (1.5 TSI segment hila degi )
Honda had a similar opportunity, when they brought back the civic, but they seriously screwed up the price per sqft ratio.

Slavia 1.0ltr Active variant doesn't have

Now, considering the missing features I am highly optimistic that the base variant will be priced below 10 lakhs so that it will cost 11.x lacs on road. This is the fair price.
But the base model has following features which I think could increase the price above 10 lakhs
1. Telescopic Steering adjustment
2. Tyre pressure monitoring system
3. 6 airbags
4. Height adjustable seats
5. Adjustable rear headrest
6. Good build quality
Skoda should increase their showrooms specially in Northeast 🥰
Plus skoda parts availability is always a problem and service cost is very high..that's why resale value is also negligible...

I am currently driving a rental Octavia while on business visit and love it and reviews like this make me confident about Skoda cars. I own a 2018 Tigor and also drive a 2021 Seltos. I an satisfied with my Tigor, but I am planning to upgrade in 2-3 years, and when I do, Slavia will be my first test drive. I hope they maintain their basics of good ground clearance, peppy engine, good number of airbags and ample space.

@@sggamerfab6795 Very good car with great ground clearance, suspension on little bit stiffer side but it is good for stability, I am 6 feet 3 inch but still I don't feel any lack of space either in front or back seats. Very comfortable, power is good but some times at lower rpm feel lack of power. It gives good mileage on Highways, around 20 Kmpl if cruise around 2000 rpm in top gear, but if you are going to use it in city you will get single digit mileage in bumper to bumper traffic also you'll need to change gears frequently in that scenario. Overall good package, you can definitely consider, but have a test drive first.

I had check the car personally at showroom. few points:
1. very thin metal sheet used. not that kind of SKODA or VV product.
2. very hard cheap plastic used inside on dash and doors. at such cost of top model thats a shame .
3. music system is nice but on high volume it started bursting out.
4. looks are mindblowing. awesome lovely. best looks in segment.
5. nice boot.
6. ITS a 4 seater car. not 5. back seat is very uncomfortable for 3 adults. its bucket seats and sided bend inside so all 3 adults are in pain.. you can even sit for few kilometers with 3
7. driving is funn. excellent control. braking.
8. lacks bottom covering got engine bay.
9. base variant lacks many features and other variants dosent seem so value.
10 rear view camera is a must on sedans and on base variants also.
so if you have intention to use with 5 people then try to sit first check then only decide.
2:24 the same feature is in our ford fiesta 2008 model tdci classic. Whenever i look at all these sedans giving such features in today's date, and seeing all those features in such a old car, i really feel, ford was ahead of its time!!

Ravi bhai having a time of his life driving the car. I agee that the quality of VAG cars have taken a nosedive while costing much more but the fun to drive factor is still ahead of the competition. No need for City to worry about this one cuz it still costs more feature to feature.

Ravi Sir I'm currently owning Seltos HTX DIESEL.. I have never owned a sedan.. Driven a lot but haven't owned one.... Mai ek sedan lene ki soch raha hu for my parents.. And Slavia kaafi attractive package lag rahi hai.. Should this be considered for them or VERNA is more comfortable for them??

Feel free to buy the Slavia. The space and comfort on the inside is immense. Don't bother about this being a new product. This 1.0TSI and 1.5TSI are sold globally in many cars. The same 1.0TSI does job in Polo, Vento, Taigun, Kushaq and now Slavia. There is no reason to not trust this product. Just wait for the initial response that's it!
Remember these engine are used on the AUTOBAHN.

That's because both are built on the same platform. Like VW Vento and Skoda Rapid. When I test drove both, I ended up choosing Rapid over Vento. I felt it had an edge over Vento. It's been 10 years and I love my Rapid. So keeping that in mind, maybe SLAVIA will have an edge over VIRTUS.

@@gopim6124 I bought Rapid purely on road presence. It looked way better than Vento. Vento, if you look from the front, looks like its smaller cousin, Polo. But Rapid, from front, doesn't look like Fabia. Also, going by build, I felt Skoda is far sturdier than VW. The 'thunk' sound when you close the door is far more satisfying in a Rapid. VW may be a premium badge, but Skoda is more value for money.

This is the best car suited for mass market as roads as already very good everywhere and 179mm is very good for a sedan and I’m also facing body roll problem in my hyundai creta 2017 in long highway drives

People give too much importance to higher ground clearance and compromise on handling and fun and are buying fake SUVs.
I'm using Ciaz shvs RS from 2015 and I never had any issues on speed breakers and bad roads , and I've driven my car on very bad roads many times and haven't faced any issues... I know pure off-roading is not possible in a sedan but normally we don't need to do off-road driving otherwise sedans can easily handle bad roads. My next car will be also a sedan for sure... Sedans are ❤️ they have unmatched comfort , handling and space.
