@@monsterchannel24 it sure is a work of art, unfortunately I started with n-scale can be a strain on the eyesight!!! Might have to go larger scale soon....🤔
Wow, the Class 66 model train looks incredible, especially with the smoke effect and the epic sounds! It’s amazing to see it in action right out of the box. ESU really did a great job on this 1/87 H0 scale model. I share train modeling content on my channel as well and appreciate seeing such detailed work. Can’t wait to see what you test next!
when i was a little kid i used to watch Thomas and Friends and always used to get excited to see the world of trains....now after seeing the toy trains it feels so nostalgic
@Hawaiian Monk Seal Well this locomotive is owned by a Swedish company named Rush Rail so this locomotive is swedish. It might be made GB but it's running here.
Model trains have come such a long way from the mechanical lever that controls the locomotive. I had a large HO train set as a young adult. It measured 3 meters by one meter. I loved it. But the control was nothing like what is in the video. The diesel locomotives had a light. The steamers did make smoke. But that was it. No locomotive had no horns, independent lights, spoken audio, bells, sound effects. I would still have that track today if did not get flooded and submurged for two days. The result was a green track, buckled wood, destroyed scenery. Muddy locomotives. I managed to get the majority of the locomotives to run. However, the rest was destroyed save for a few of the rail wagons. I gave the locomotives that I got to run to someone. They looked like weathered locomotives after the submurged treatment. The new owner appreciated them. I think of that track often.
@@monsterchannel24 I have been giving a lot of thought of starting an N scale or Z scale. Since my home is small, I do not think I would revisit the HO scale right now. But N and Z has a tremendous amount of detail when compared to the N and Z of the 1990s. I wish I would have got even a cheap set before this evil quarantine my nation is forcing.
The class 66 was a tremendous workhorse when it was in full use in the UK but, it is mainly used abroad & it still worth its weight in gold as a fantastic workhorse locomotive still to this day. Not many if any locomotives can equal it with its shear amount of power. & reliability to simply just on going.
Livery is great and sounds fantastic but I’m sorry, the smoke just doesn’t look particularly realistic in my opinion. It’s rare you’d see diesel smoke out of a class 66 when it’s running, might get a blast at start up and thrash but nothing else. Having said that, to fit all this modern tech in to models now is an absolute feat of engineering and sincerely adds so much more value to our hobby. Great video and thanks for sharing 👍
Im simply amazed with this diesel engine in HO SCALE that smokes in its own stack!. The layout, tracks, 🛤 scenery, 🌴 🌴🌳🌳trees the log carrier cars awesome. You're layout in this video is inspiring me for a new layout and grassmat in this video. I definitely want this your engine runs perfect! Great job on this presentation on all this.👍👏👏👏👏
5:58 Hope you've corrected the mis-plugged-in outer rail of inner curved track by now... I'm US, strictly US modeler..But this is still one beautiful model of Euro railroading..The guy below SHOULD be sorry, sorry to mouth off about the smoke not right..Some day that too will be improved.. Better than nothing......I wish USA type diesels had smoke (tho i'm a steam guy actually).... 12:05 I would get those 'S' curves out of there by adding a one car length tangent between the 2 opposing spirals (curves)..
Had a Triang Jinty many years ago that did that ! I've worked on Class 66's, and if it smoked like that, there would be something VERY wrong with it !!

Nice.....👍👍👍
66s are reasonably modern locos and had engines that didn't emit a lot of smoke, so this just makes it look slightly like a steam locomotive

how much cost it is....pls reply....where it buy
In Russia, such a locomotive costs around 25,000 rubles or 260 dollars for the locomotive itself, and each car costs about 50 dollars

Yeah, I also love this loco!
This smoke looks good on steam loco. For diesel the exhaust should alternate via air pressure
