A little experiment. I took all of the episodes of our cross country trip and edited all of the content down to a 2 hour film. Let me know if this style is better. Thanks
@@CYCLEFANATIX I liked this style. Just little tidbits from most of the days and the highlights of the trip while making sure did didn’t spend all your time behind the camera so you could enjoy your trip and soak it all in.
I think the 2 hour format is great it shows the real you as so much chilled. Ive just done a 5000 trip though out Australia, its a big country, tropics to salt bush deserts to beautiful farming - wine growing area's, through the Snowy mountains, into Sydney our most beautiful harbour city then home via inlets and sugar cane country. Unless you hit the road like you & I have doing serious (long haul) on a bike, I feel they haven't lived or felt there country.... You showed a side of America thats beautiful & free. Thought for your next movie show the blue highways (back roads) please ...M
Me and my husband sat down to chill and watch biker riding videos cuz it’s snowing here in Rhode Island and this is one of the best videos we have seen in a long time you edited this perfect!
I am a 70 year old harley owner and I am enjoying my love of motor cycles through you and your 2 friends! I am Canadian and really happy to see the western part of the United States by this beautiful video you have prepared for us! Thank you!
I am watching this movie as I comment. This movie is absolutely amazing John. To re-live your journey, in a different type of footage , is absolutely phenomenal!! I can't wait to watch this again with my girlfriend on our TV. Absolutely amazing job John. Keep up the great work that you do and always ride safe brother 🇺🇸💯🤘🏻
Oh man what a joy to watch!! When i lived in the PNW, we made regular family trips to Yellowstone. This brought me back to my youth and got me right in the feels!! Thanks for such an awesome edit. Keep this up!!
It was nice to see the individual videos of this trip, but this film was epic! I love how this combined the entire trip into one video. As already mentioned in another comment, I know this had to be a major undertaking for editing and upload, but it was well worth it! I watched the entire film and will probably watch it again. I never expected Idaho to look like that, and I may have added Pikes Peak to the bucket list because of this. Awesome job!!
I found you through Robert Simmons and thank god I did. I can see now why he lights up when he sees you. Your quality of character comes straight through the screen. As far as the movie, I have to say, this way the greatest movie I have watched in ages. It needs to be on Netflix for the masses, The camaraderie of you and your pals, the beauty of this planet, the sadness of this planet, the moods of mother nature, come on man, it's the full package. It's also a testament to dependability and durability of a today's Harley Davidson, I was mesmerized. I even forgot my Celtics were playing.. I'm gonna play this on a loop in my shop when I am tinkering. Just magical. Thank you for doing this and sacrificing family time for those of us living vicariously through you. P.S. Please never stop making Harley Videos. I just got here. JERRY
Wonderful cinematography and editing! I’ve been going through some hard times lately and this film really cheered me up with all the beautiful scenery and the camaraderie between you guys. Takes me back to how I used ride my Ultra across country and run to Sturgis through all weather, absorbing peace from the open road. I don’t travel, I explore. 😊👍💗🇨🇦
Great trip/video. The bittersweet feeling when you part ways with your bro's and head for home after an epic trip is a feeling that can never be adequately described.
Great video and re-cap..just amazing..love the true enthusiasm that comes out seeing what this country has bestowed upon us....will finish the re-cap tomorrow...great ride with great friends....
I loved the series of videos. But this movie is something we can watch and enjoy too. Put this on in the man cave, when company is over. It's a shame that we can't give additional likes every time we watch. I'll be replaying this a few times. Thank you for sharing 💯
Awesome movie! I liked how you did both, the short detailed videos of each day touching on the people you met and restaurants you stopped at. Then this epic movie recapping everything... Awesome job bro!
Who doesn't love a bonus, lol definitely prefer the long version, but can imagine how much time and effort it takes, great work, glad your trip was a huge success, my trip this year was canceled from those two hurricanes, wrong timing, but can't complain some lost everything, I've got next year, God bless✌️
Epic video boys. Sittin here in icy freakin cold Michigan enjoying the crap outa this trip. Been on two wheels for 50 years now. Hope and pray to get at least 20 more. Traveling on two never gets old, you know what I’m talkin about. Well done fellas. Yeah, this is better. Great music too.
Big John, this piece is all-time epic. Just getting around to watching this having been bogged down with holiday stuff. Lol. Stuff you guys experienced/saw for the first time, was so cool to see the excitement you all had. I too, have enjoyed those parts time and again. Unfortunate you guys ran into all that smoke and burn area, which those particular states deal with every single year, pretty much ruins most summers; not good with their forest management. But so glad you got to run down the coast to take in the Pacifico Ocean (Magellan called it, meaning “Peaceful”) 😂 Taking us along on that three week tour brother, was as inspiring as it gets. Big thanks to your families letting you guys venture out to do as much. Your drone coverage was off the hook, you back drop music perfectly fit every moment, and the chatter between the three of you is always top notch! BUT, I wish one of you guys would start ordering a 10 ounce Filet, medium well, with steamed broccoli!! 🤣🤣 You’ll have to get the band together again to go coast to coast in Canada, up into that remote, insane Yukon Territory, and there’s so much more to see out West in the US…. Glacier NP, Mt Evans, Trail Ridge Road, Wolf Creek Pass, Independence Pass, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park….. it’s endless for you guys buddy, nobody rides and films it better! You’re getting a lot of peeps on the couch, brother.
Hi from the UK. I just stumbled on your channel and loved this epic trip. Great footage, music and editing. (And food). I've ridden Yosemite, Death Valley, Highway 1, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tail of the Dragon but you have inspired me to travel out once again to Yellowstone and the Tetons. It looked unreal. Thank you, man.
Rode solo Pacific Ocean to Atlantic Ocean and back, Oceanside, Oregon to Atlantic City in 2018 on a 2006 Road King. It's truly an experience you never forget. Loved seeing Pennsylvania on a day it wasn't raining at a biblical level cuz that's what I got for most of the day across that state. I thought it might be a pretty state and now I know it is. The thing about riding cross country and back, ocean to ocean is you end up really getting a true feel for just how large this country is. As someone who has lived most of his life in the pacific NW, it warms my heart to see the reaction to the beauty of the area you all had.
It's the greatest joy when it starts but then it's sadness when it ends, there's nothing better than a good trip with your best friends, hugs to everyone and drive safely👊🍻✌️
Thank you for sharing!! What an awesome trip. I hope to do something similar someday. I have been up Pikes Peak on a rented Harley a couple years ago. I put 1100 miles on in 4 days in Colorado. Beautiful.. Ride safe!
What a Trip, thanks a lot for the great Pictures 😊 The best way to go on a journey Is the Bike !👍👍 Hope to Ride in USA in the next Years! Greetings from Germany
Great video, I just did a similar ride from Orange County NY, did it in early June 2024 and unfortunately didn’t do Beartooth, when I got to Red Lodge, it was cold and rainy, wasn’t gonna risk it, didn’t feel like hitting a snow storm, but I did head northwest and hit the Cascade Mountains in Washington then went down the coast and took 299 to Reno. 7000 miles in 17 days. 2025 I plan on just riding around the Rocky Mountains.
Did a similar trip in 2023 and 24 Left Niagara Falls went north to Sault Ste Marie and crossed into Michigan and took Hwy 2 to Everett Wa and the next year picked up Hwy 12 and avoided the slabs. I notice when in S Dakota you didn't ride Needles Hwy, After leaving Deadwood you missed Lolo Pass a truly great ride and then I took Hwy 14 along the north shore of the Columbia River. all the way to Portland. You fellows are obviously experienced riders but you miss a lot by having every day of your trip planned. I enjoyed my time around Sturgis so much I spent 2 days there because I did not have to be somewhere else to keep a reservation. Sometimes you have to ride by the seat of your pants.
You did an AMAZING JOB!! I've commented before...I went from the West (Washington) to Illinois thru sturgis then home thru Winnipeg, Alberta, Saskatchewan , British Columbia then down to Washington. I hit a bunch of places in your Vid so it was super nastalgic for me...your BEST work so far...Thank you for this!👏👏 Ride Safe🙏
Thanks so much for sharing this AWESOME VIDEO, it’s my Dream to see all of these Beautiful Places when I get my New Bike in the near future, as I am going through my 3rd time having Cancer after losing my left Kidney in 2019 so it has returned to haunt the living shit out of me, I will be going through Radiation Therapy starting in November and Bro I am Scared, I am 67 years old but feel a bit weak, but I’m not going to let it get me down, I have been following you for a couple of years now and love the views of OUR AWESOME COUNTRY, can you post a link to your boys videos from Sandy and the guys who look like twins, oh I’m from Norfolk Massachusetts, Pikes Peak was Beautiful, I still watch your video from the White Mountains in New Hampshire, Stay and always Ride Safe Bro
Just watched the video John. Amazing!!! Like watching a movie. I loved it. Kate and Mark from Calgary Alberta Canada. We appreciate all your content. New 24 Roadglide comes home tomorrow. Let me know when you’d like to ride in Canada. I could suggest some of our scenic routes. Cheers fella
music for the next feature length film: Whenever you are showing you on screen, you should play "Thunderstruck" by ACDC. Whenever you show Sandy on screen, you should play "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the Tokens.
Gonna watch it all, in chunks. But, after only watching the first 40 seconds gonna say….feels like FREEDOM! I’ll pound out a few days to a week a few times a year limited only by my work schedule. Getting close to retirement and then….can’t wait to run multi week trips! True peace, imho.
Thank you for the ride, John. Lovin' the reaction that K gave you at the door.... She obviously didn't hear you pull in, lol. As for Danny, He obviously didn't want the ride to end. .... As a Canuck , I can relate, ( his ride home was probably cold and miserable, me knowing what lake-effect weather is like., but I'm a west-coaster, ... Nuff said there). So the big Ride-question is .....: I did not see either of you three dunk your feet into the Pacific, once you finished the Ride-to the-West part of the trip .....and then grab a rock and drag it back with you to the Atlantic area coast and give the rock a new home in the Atlantic area. Anywho, Well done, Awesome ride. Stay Safe.

Greetings from Denmark. Awesome epic video ! I´m gonna be doing my first ride in the U.S in 2026.. So seeing this just had me more excited can´t wait for it to happen :) Thanx ! Ride safe
Stunning video, Sir! I'll be doing a ride similar to that from Central Virginia to Oregon and Northern California next July! I'll be on my 2018 Goldwing riding with three Harleys and a BMW!
Fantastic.I enjoyed seeing ur video 3 times completely.wonderful.u r a great leader. I enjoy seeing ur video. I feel as though I am riding with u . I am in south india 80 yrs old. I become young after seeing you
Great movie. I feel like I got to relieve the journey again. I gotta say I don't know how you do it. Saturday, that just passed. I did a 300-mile R/T ride bro I'm still sore!
What an epic ride! 2025 is the year for me and my wife. We are riding from Ohio to the pacific coast on a 7000 mile 22 day adventure. Just curious but it seemed like you had your GoPro on and off the bike within seconds to capture things. What mount do you have that releases that quickly?
Hey John, Not sure if I missed it, but did you by any chance post the route you took? My dream is to ride cross country one day. My goal is to avoid highways and stay on back roads as much as i can.
What a great trip and we’ll done video. Just a question, if that’s ok, what’s a ball park of what is cost you for everything from day 1 to finish so We have some kind of idea of expectation?? Btw, I’m an hour by your buddy Danny in ont.

Great edit bro!
Amazing! Keep the movies coming, man. That shot at 1:24:51 was epic. The whole video is epic!! Just subbed for more ✌️
Thank you
Thank you for the ride, John. Lovin' the reaction that K gave you at the door.... She obviously didn't hear you pull in, lol.

Stay Safe.

@@CYCLEFANATIX crazy you responded! ❤️
Very cool Trip 👌, the video was very nice. I love the USA. Many biker greetings from Germany 🇩🇪🤟🏍️ Michael
Thanks ✌️
Epic ride. A bucket list ride. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video! But, just a heads up, when you said Wisconsin and MN are flat, well, mostly. But being on the interstate, you bypassed some of the BEST riding in the country between Madison WI and the MN border. Look up the Driftless Region, and next time you're over here, try to save some time to get off the interstate and into the real good roads. I know you were on a timetable this time, just throwing it out there. You'll be glad you did!
Throughly enjoyed your documentary of an epic trip!
absolutely epic brother, thanks for sharing
Appreciate the love!

What an epic ride! 2025 is the year for me and my wife. We are riding from Ohio to the pacific coast on a 7000 mile 22 day adventure. Just curious but it seemed like you had your GoPro on and off the bike within seconds to capture things. What mount do you have that releases that quickly?
Blessed !!!
We'll done sir! This gets us Canadians through our non-riding winter season. What make/model is your helmet and how do you like it?
Great movie!!!
Hey John, Not sure if I missed it, but did you by any chance post the route you took? My dream is to ride cross country one day. My goal is to avoid highways and stay on back roads as much as i can.
I didn’t, but if you look at the separate videos, I do mention the roads we took
Awe snap👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 what’s up Pal🤪👊🏻
