I do too, I have a similar garage without that awesome flooring. So, can you share where you got that if you were involved in the installation? I want to buy it assuming you like it?
Looks awesome. I run the same setup on my M4 - 666m with 12mm spacers for summer, and the 641m winter wheels, but I just keep the 12mm spacers. That Continental winter tire is great for our Minnesota winters. I haven’t seen the 641m in black before - I assume the previous owner powder coated them?
I also sold my old winter 18” wheels for 19” 437m wheels. Added pirelli sottozero tires and I was rubbing up front 255/35/19 with 15mm spacers. Had to add 10mm spacers to clear maybe 12 wouldve worked. Are you not rubbing? Im lowered on Emd Springs
So sad to see you sold your car 🚙 but at the same time so happy for you on your new acquisition! I have decided to get an M3 for my self but it would be 5th generation like yours and I wanted to get your guidance on best way to go about it. I know you went through it when buying your used car before and would appreciate your input. It would be something brief can you suggest how we can do it? Always appreciate it my friend,

Love the 641m 19" Tommy! Looks sick! Always prefer OEM & we are cut from the same cloth playing around with max spacers without poking to much. Safe winter driving... happy holidays Tommy
Hey Tommy, what happened to your Richland Forged wheels?? I was looking at a set...I have the stock 666 wheels on my M4 but they are a pain to keep clean!
Still looks really clean and good. Now, you need thicker TLG mud-flaps for those 18mm spacers. How long are the studs, and what kind of lugs are you using??
@@TommyLGarage Thanks!! I want to do the conversion on my 135i, but honestly, not sure how long should I get them in case I had to run spacers at some point. Don’t want to get a “too long” set from the get go.
I got the same but in silver, they are nice wheels, a bit heavy but good looking and the best is they are easy to clean and clear snow out of. I didn't put any spacers on mine because winter ahha. Man they look great on your M3
Great content brother. I see you always working on your car yourself i was wondering if you can help me out. I recently got a manual 2016 F82 only 24k miles on it. When i take traction control fully off to do a burn out of just to spin tires and have fun the car start to shake almost as if it was jumping on the rear end. I’ve driven other high HP RWD cars and i know thats not how it feels. Any ideas what that could be?
Gotta ceramic coat the new wheels in the Spring. Aftermarket FORGED wheels in a gunmetal finish in the right offset are the best solution. 18s might provide a better ride vs 19s. Nothing special about overpriced BMW OEM wheels. Very few nice designs coming from BMW these days. Avoid BMW diamond cut (brushed metal) wheels. They are only clear coated and tend to corrode quickly, as the clear coat degrades. You can powder coat the BMW OEM wheels to your preferred finish as an option. Wonder if the G8X M3/M4 wheels fit an F8X M3/M4?
First, thanks for the mud flaps for my g80, they look great. I live in Virginia and never switched my summer tires. Now with the g80 I may get winter tires but I won't drive my car in very cold weather because I will just use my x5. Never has a issue in the past and a lot of people I know do the same. I'm not saying it's the best decision by no means.
Love your garage. Seems like a nice place to enjoy viewing your cars and hangout once in a while
Thanks! I love it too. Biggest selling point for the house hehe

They’re oem black. Apparently they came in 2 colors
Just make sure those winter tires aren't old. Check the date on the sidewall.
They’re 3 years old. Should be fine for another 2 years
Super small nit but maybe paint the wheel balancer weights on the rear left black?
Good idea ! Now I can’t unsee it :)

I get no running. But offset of 641 is different compared the 437

Thanks for the love Gary. Happy holidays!
Love the 19"'s I have a set of wheels from an F10 5-Series for Winter duty. Where did you get the spacers?
Spacers are from my old collection.
I have the exact same winter wheels for the past few years. Got it in silver when I purchased it. Big mistake, had to powder coat it to black

Now I know what I have sitting in my garage are with brand new winter tires, have been meaning to post them for sale and they're black.
They’re great wheels and tires

I use studs from Kies Motorsports and Macht Schnell nuts. I got the longest set

G8X is a different offset unfortunately so the wheels won’t fit

I run these same winter wheels on my e92 m3 lol. Not a fan of the continentals they came with tho, they feel like I'm driving on balloons.
I agree. The continentals have lots of side play
Maybe your tires are directional after all?
No luckily I checked
Looks good man. Great wheels. I need a set of 641s.
They’re such pretty wheels
Why are the 641s considered rare? How many were made?
The black ones are rare. They made between 20 and 468,474 examples.
@@TommyLGarage good to know 😂
I think you bought these right before I was gonna DM him on the forums, you always seem to snatch up everything so fast.
I got them on Craigslist.
What tint percent are you running?
35 sides and 15 rear window
I like both the wheel setup, new one match the car good.😀😀
Thanks. I agree !
666 are the best looking wheels for sure. Good to see you are back to BMW :)
I agree.!!
It looks good. ... Tbh i care less about spacers during winter time... I call it winter mode . :)
Gotta look stylish all the time! :)
I like the winter wheels look better than the summer wheels.
