I would love to visit and have that experience. Am originally from Bronx , New York born n raised. But my mother was Ecuadorian , unfortunately she past away and buried her in New Jersey. Again am a native New Yorker but my roots is Ecuadorian. I watched the videos and it’s looks so peaceful, never been there but would like enjoy the mother land , the place where my mother came from many many years ago , back in the 60’s.😘

I went into the jungle of Peru and participated in aya ceremonies as a solo traveler. For my 50th birthday, i knew I wanted to do something radical. Traveling alone into the Amazon jungle to drink a brew of the strongest psychedelic in the world is pretty radical, especially for a 50 year old woman. I’d never done a psychedelic before and had only tried marijuana a few times in my life and didn’t really like it. It was time to re set my compass. It was the most amazing experience of my life and completely life changing! It was very very difficult, indeed, and at one point i thought I’d made a huge mistake. To summarize, in order to be “born again”, a part of you must die. And death is terrifying and painful. This was 4 years ago and “she” is still with me almost daily. I am now preparing for another ceremony next month. I knew when I left the jungle, i would be doing this again when the time felt right. I think it is important for older people to do this. Why? Because time on this earth shortens as you age, you can begin to see the finish line, and it’s time to stop wasting time. It becomes time to face your fears, kick ass and live! For real!! Namaste, brother. Well done! ❤️🙏

@@GaiaAyahuascaRetreat I have a question. Does your retreat center work without tobacco? Because I can't handle tobacco at all in any way I can't stand it when people smoke around me and I can not drink tobacco tea. Is there a center that only works with the two teacher plants without tobacco?

It’s refreshing to see someone closer to my age making a video about his aya experience. I’m 53 & I’ve seen soo many videos depicting a group of 20 something year olds, where I don’t feel I would fit in. Not saying that I would close myself off to learning from them, but I wouldn’t want to be the oldest one there. It would be great to have the opportunity to pick an age group to experience aya with that you can identify with more. Like moms who’s kids are grown and how that makes you feel. How to accept getting older, when it seems to have snuck up on you! I’m surprised that more older people are not pursuing this path to enlightenment. Unless they are just not talking about it?
Anyway, I’ll probably be 63 before I can afford to go to one of these retreats. It’s ridiculous that it’s illegal in California. But, then mother aya presents herself when the time is right. ✨🍃✨

I am 46. I can understand what you're saying, but since we're going for ourselves, we should try to focus on that. Of course, I kind of wish I went years ago. I want to go soon. I am investigating different groups.

Kimberley Searching i am 63 and had my first aya experience recently when i was still 62! in my group was only one person there older than me(other than the maestra, who is 72!) i was surprised by the wisdom of the helpers, who are decades younger than me as well as everyone else präsent. i would definitely not let age stop me. once you know it’s the right time your experience will be perfect!

As he says, barriers fall down. When you are in any retreat, everybody's broken and show their vulnerability. People are generous and get to know each other very quickly because they go through a big ordeal together. :) So... are you gonna go?
I want to go but also have my barriers and would love if a friend could hold my hand through the process, but I guess the goal is to experience that your best friend is within yourself. xox

I’m 32, and I’ve been into spirituality since I was 18, I was into medication, diet, I read a lot, but I feel it won’t get me as close as this will. I really need to do this. I feel a calling even though I’m scared of what I might learn.

Don't be scared. The worst you will meet is the part of yourself you don't like, but that is where the healing happens!

Thank you so much for your visit and we are so glad you felt comfortable. It really is one of those places where age, young or old, in the middle, it doesn't matter. Somehow the medicines are the great leveler which makes us all the same and equals, ageless.

    So beautiful!
I’m so glad you went for it!
We’re all the same age in the greater reality. Living lifetime after lifetime before we make it all the way back home. We were all born at the same moment. First God, out of the void and then all if us, the mirror consciousnesses. God gets to live every possibility through us and all of our brethren throughout the universe. You’ve got a right to live from that inner child all the way through!
    You keep it up now!
    Happy Journey! 😉

I also had a most wonderful experience at Gaia Sagrada earlier this year. The environment is exquisite, the staff are warm, inclusive, nurturing and professional and I was in awe of the amazing skills of Christine and the other shamans. As an older person, I was also inspired by the spiritual advancement of the young (and older) people who attended, and assisted at, the retreat.

This is the first time I’ve heard of a sweat ceremony with Ayahuasca. Although I would participate in the Ayahuasca, I could not in participate in the sweat hut, I overheat far too easily. Beautiful testimony, thanks for sharing. It’s nice to see someone over the age of 50 or 60 sharing.

Sometimes people sit outside the sweat lodge and take the medicine, it's fine to do that! The sweat loge is amazing, with the san pedro and the ayahuasca together, it's a powerful healing, but not everyone goes inside, some people do their journey outside the sweatlodge. We can facilitate that.

Thank you so much for this video! This body/mind experience has been going on for over 60 years or me. I am feeling drawn to t is the mother of Ayahuasca! I do wonder about the factor of age and opening up to a retreat like this. However, seeing that more years are behind me then in front of me in this life experience, I long to go forward with much less baggage.
So wonderful to hear The Mantra, Om Namah Shivaya, at the end of the video!❣️❣️🕉☮️🕉

      @GaiaAyahuascaRetreat  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, the medicine really does clean out the old and bring in the new, and when we get to the later years, we might as well be happy right up to the end! Make the last years count. I like how you said that!

Yes you do have a soul that lives in a body. when we die, our souls live for eternity either in hell or in heaven where there is no time frame. its just for ever. the thing that sucks is if you don't make it to heaven, bc you never had a relationship with Jesus Christ. the one who made you. hell was only made for satan and his angles but we as humans have free will. Jesus is not gonna force us into His kingdom.
