I customize my childhood dollhouse, the 1993 Fisher Price Loving Family Dream Dollhouse, turning it into a cute cottage in the forest! This old house definitely needed a makeover.

Looks great! My questions: What type paint did you use? From working with plastic, especially smooth non- porous surfaces, are difficult to add paint to? It just will not adhere very well.

This is fantastic. I recently found one of these sitting on the curb for the trash in my neighborhood. I'm an action figure collector and customizer so I grabbed it thinking it might make a cool Wayne Manor based off the '90s Kenner playset. But this video has shown me that there's a lot more potential there if I just put the effort in. Great video and awesome work about to watch part 2 now.

Oh my Wizardry of magic your dollhouse looks Gorgeous, what about the inside of the house? I think it does need a whole new makeover. If you had a miniself doll the inside of the

I have a huge dollhouse and it has been in my porch for forever so i decided to give it a makeover and look for ideas for what to do this vid was helpful im starting the project tomoorow morning after i give it a deep clean of all the dust and take the stickers off the walls
Love this so much, great job! I had this house when I was a little boy, I had none of the furniture, but I sure had a blast playing with my barbies and Mario figures in it :) Love what you did to it, the egg carton technique is very clever :)
This looks like so much fun! It's kinda like a coloring book, you have an outline to work from but endless possibilities to customize it to make it your own

Omgggg i had this dollhouse as a child too 🥲 i remember my mom bought it for me at the salvation army when i was about 4 & it even had some of the furniture.

Your little plastic Fisher-Price dollhouse came out so pretty it looks like real stone that you put on it I like that texture that you put on there with cardboard and stuff and egg cartons and stuff it's it's very very pretty I like it thank you for sharing that with this I did subscribe to your channel cuz I want to see how the rest of it comes out

I had this exact dollshouse as a child in the early 2000s and one night I had a nightmare that the little doll people tried to kill me and after that I never played with it again lol. . My parents were so annoyed. Now I have a daughter and I showed her this video and she's so upset I didn't keep the house. . . Anyway. Looks awesome you are very talented.

Fantastic! I recently got the Loving Family "twin" mansion and am working on it for Halloween. Gonna display my spooky action figures in it. The egg cartoon stuff is great! Gonna use that in my makeover.
Im so excited to see more of these! I watch a lot of dnd terrain builds and this definitely reminded me of that. My guess is that the egg carton trick came from table top war games like war hammer, since a lot of those people build their own terrain rather than buying it.

This is stunning I plan to redo a dollhouse for my kids. What kind of paint are u using or do u recommend? I plan to keep it all a lighter grey/ white color so worried it will show the color or worried it will scrap off

So I want the one at our house to look different, I am considering painting it but I am worried I’m going to ruin it! Did acrylic paint hold up well or has it peeled? Is this playhouse getting regularly used by kids or is it for display purposes? You did an amazing job!

Thanks so much!! I looked at pictures of cottages on Google Images and picked out certain aspects I liked, like the cobblestone walls, ivy, etc 😊 I combined it all to make my own dream house

This is exactly what I need to makeover a plastic farm building toy...to make it look more realistic. Did you use any kind of primer? I can never get paint to stick on plastic.
I actually didn't use any primer for this, just used white acrylic paint first and it was able to stick on fine :) but if it's still not sticking you could maybe try plastic primer

How has the paint held up? I want to paint my You and Me Together Dollhouse, it's plastic as well.
So if you paint modge podge over the painted coat, it will create a sealant? Will the paint chip off?
The acrylic paint doesn’t scrape off the plastic? I want to paint my sons dollhouse but he plays with it and I don’t want it to peel.
Did you use s primer or gesso to make it stick better?

Trust me, Besides, Her friend and other Ladies I've met that voiced the Iconic but Controversial Girl's toy..... That was German Invention before American Company [Now known as Mattel] get their dirty hands off of this. My Ex would slap and beat both of us for this. No Seriously, She is one of those Ladies....!
