- Follow Nature photographer Cheyne Walls as he hikes The Narrows, in Zion National Park with his trusted tool watch, the Rolex Submariner Date.
One of the most important pieces of equipment in a Nature photographer’s arsenal isn’t always part of his or her camera bag - the prefect instrument of keeping time can mean the difference between capturing or missing an epic shot. The Rolex Submariner Date has become an import tool in Cheyne's photography process.

Again another great video, also it’s good to see someone using watch how it’s meant to be used and building memories with the watch
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Its what these watches are designed for. Cheers
a 100%, I'm not seeing this kind of content on any other youtube channel.
These just keep getting better!
Thank you. We are doing our best. Cheers
Thank you for this Submariner Video! I Love your Work ❤
Thank you for that, Cheers
Thanks for sharing these views with us, with of course a beautiful watch!
It is an amazing location, and a great watch. Cheers
The best channel i found , period! . What a gem. Using tool watches as it should be and not just by wearing them in the office. Can't wait to see you taking Tudor GMT into the wild sir ! Subscribed!
Cheers, Thank you. Here you go Tudor out in the wildness (th-cam.com/video/oc1t3BPCo-Q/w-d-xo.html )
@@cheynewalls so much yess
Always enjoy your adventures. Safe travels
Thank you, Cheers
Great to see a watch being actually used. I use my Seiko turtle everyday at work, she’s got some battle scars but what’s the point of owning them if you won’t wear them
100%, Love seeing battle scars on my watches. Cheers
great video Cheyne, very much enjoy watching your travels!
Thank you Ian, Cheers
Gorgeous scenery & the appropriate watch for it!
Cheers, It is an amazing place.
Damn, I never get these notifications! I’ve got about 6 vids to catch up on.
Hopefully you enjoy, Cheers
How did you manage to find a day/time when nobody else was there?? I went around when Covid started and it was still packed!
Winter time, go between Nov - Feb. You will have the whole park to yourself. Cheers
@@cheynewalls Sounds good!
Great video! Do you mind adding Celsius degrees for your metric viewers 😅
Thank you, actually that is a good point. I'll add Celsius in future videos. Cheers
That’s right 💪🏽 tell these G-Shock geeks what a real tool watch is! Maybe your grandkids will do the same route adventure with them Rolex‼️
That is a fun thought, the next generation hiking the same route with the same watch. The G-shocks are good watches in most environments, just not in subzero temps, like all battery powered things. Cheers
Looks like you didn’t trade the Submariner and Explorer II for the VC. Good choice!
Indeed, just posted that video. Cheers
Did you add a link on the 6 o'clock side?
I did not. I like to wear it as small as I can on my wrist so I can use the Rolex Glidelock system to make it bigger to fit over my wet-suit and jackets. Cheers
I have 7 inch wrist, do you have 5 links on both side and use lowest setting on the glade lock?
@@cmichael2005 Indeed, that is how I wear it.
