Did surrendering the car affect your credit score when you buy that other car or you bought it cash?

It did not affect my credit score at all. I made sure that i continue to pay my instalments during the auction process and even 1 month after that and settled the balanced so that my account does not go into Arrears. Same year i bought a house i think 4 months after settling my car
