Thank you very much custom works did an awesome job putting this kit together .. the cross pins in the diff that hold the gears they told me they are weak so I upgraded them , that's what I mean by great service so far...

Hey, how you doing? The mamba monster is a good ESC. It just has limited tunability... activation range. Start Power And basically overall timing, so that gives you very limited Tuning, but it will hold a ton of power. If you can manage it, I am using the R1 ESC. And I am using MKS 550 servo.
Hi Dave I have a serious question for you. Having had this new patriot chassis for a while now. Do you still love it as much as you did when you first got it. I got a new drc maxim chassis near the end of the season and am not having much luck with that chassis. Come spring I'm looking at replacing it with either the R1 the new maverick 24 drc or the patriot that you are running. I would like your thoughts on this if you have time to share. Thanks Dave Doug
Sir Doug, I still think the Patriot for the dollar is the best. You can't beat service their supply the way the chassis works. It's exactly like I said in the new beginning's video. When I bought it in the box. It's well-designed easy to work on, and it flat out works. Go to their website and check out the v2 version for Just $285. 100g lighter. The box It's on its way to my house.
@powermadracing5116 so I did try and order a patriot up but unfortunately they don't ship to Alberta Canada. So I've ordered up the DC1 R1 chassis with upgraded shocks and aluminum lay down transmission. I know time wise all the chassis nowadays are very close in times and speeds.

I hear you solo. I sold all my old traxxas stuff and it paid for 3/4 of the car. It is 695 comes complete even with a spur.

Does that have plastic gears? If so how do they hold up?
It does come with plastic gears for the diff and the idler. Any B6 platform gears Will work.
Why such a HUGE battery ??????
It is to keep the voltage up such a demand in such a short amount of time, and We need to weight up front for front % chassis set up.
