Thank you! I don't read YA either but I think Simon vs. avoided a lot of the pit falls of YA for most of the book. I definitely recommend - if only for the great main character & sweet love story. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it if you ever do read it :)
oof. Sorry you didn't like The Immortalists. I can't articulate why very well, but I really enjoyed it. I guess I didn't see the second half twists as unrealistic because I had already set aside that expectation when the woman tells them all their death dates. At that point, I was willing to accept extra-reality (is that a word?). I don't know. Still enjoyed hearing your thoughts on it, though.

I should have set aside the realistic expectation early on too haha. However, I will pick up whatever Chloe Benjamin writes next - she is certainly an author to watch.
