I have just received Trip Machine handlebars wrapping. Unbelievable service, packaging, I wish other companies learned form Trip Machine how to service there customers. 👍👍👍
DONT CUT THE TAPE STRAIGHT LIKE THAT! Lol. Watch a cycling handlebar wrapping video on youtube and youll see exactly what I mean. When i am finishing this trip machine wrap, i cut on an ANGLE so that youre left with a "pointy" ending piece. Then, remove the adhesive backing from the very end of the wrap, so that you get a nice uniform thickness. If you leave the adhesive on the back of your ending piece, you will have a very thick section of grip. Finish your end piece with the provided super glue, hold it in place for 10 seconds and youre good to go.
Beautiful leather wrap, good un-boxing and marketing collateral - but ended up NOT installing. I recently put some Grip Puppies on mine to stop vibration. I suppose I could install these over the Grip Puppies (they're just long enough) - but the leather just felt too slick for my hands. Will save them in case change mind - but prefer something a little more grabby.
I just finished my custom bobber motorcycle and dint know what kind of grips to install but when I came across ur product I bought the black leather and it was just what it needed that rugged old school feel . thanks
Hi, i have questions i got my handle wraps for int 650. My questions is should i remove the factory installed grip or should i roll over the factory set grips will it make a difference?
Hey, Great products and amazing customer service. I must mention the awesomeness of Customer service as i've been a victim of bad customer service all my life. Next, In the demo video i see the handle bar is plain. Do i have to remove the existing grip from the handle to install this one?
do these stay attached to the grip where the leather ends? I'm wonder if constant grabbing the grip will pull the end of the leather strap away from the grip.
Just received mine, any chance of a longer version that will work with 40mm dia grip puppies? The extra diameter and cushion helps with my arthritic fingers.
In Amazon or something I read a review that, someone lost this coz it is easy to peel off!! Anyone could just peel it off the handlebar and use it right??
Great concept but.... The double sided tape is wack. if you roll back to correct it, it takes the thin layer of leather with it. Manufacture it with higher grade 3M tape.
Mine came with a small tube of superglue rather than extra tape. I assume I'm supposed to use the glue to keep the final wrap attached. However I'm not really sure how much glue to apply. Thoughts?

To fix the end part of leather we provide a super glue so that you can make it stick to the grips.
Question: What style wrap was used in this vid? Was it the vintage tan one? Just cos I can't decide which to go for yet, thanks!
Yes, these shown are the vintage tan I bought a set recently they are high quality and the packaging is really nice too.

Will water affect the wrap?
Keeping it covered while washing your motorcycle or in rain would give these grips a longer life.

My 'guess' is the adhesive may disintegrate, you may want to see a perforated type wrap.

Those were the stock grips that came with motorcycle.
Can We use this product in rain?
Yes you can. We would advise you not to leave the open in direct rain for too long as that could destroy the leather.

You can not re use the wraps once peeled off.
