I’ve beat the shit out of my spx3000 with my detailing business for the past 5 years with zero issues. Still running strong. Yes it’s cheap and it’s not a $1200 Kranzle but It gets the job done for what I need it for. Someday I’ll splurge for the Kranzle when the SJ finally dies.
This was a great video. I am just a 60 year old lady that wants to clean the mold and mildew around the outside of the house without killing myself with a heavy machine. I think the key for me will probably be to use a combination of chemicals and this pressure washer in order to get the job done. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for another very informative video! You stated that the hose length has a negligible effect on the measured outputs. Does the diameter of the pw hose make a difference? I noticed you used a Kobrajet hose (3/8” diameter) rather than the SunJoe OE 1/4” hose. I have the SPX3000 and am wanting a longer hose... should I stick with the OE hose diameter of 1/4” or can I upgrade to a 3/8” hose and expect similar results? Thank you in advance!
Finished the video. Thanks so much for all the material, watched it all and I basically OG spec'd out my new Karchar k1900 that was on sale. the motor sounds way more stout than any of the others and makes it more enjoyable to use if that makes sense. please providing the videos, all this research helps so many of use with similar obsessive tendencies, researching until days end to know how to spec ANYTHING/EVERYTHING out to our preference and budget.
I like my spx3000. The only thing I really hate about it is the sound it makes after you release the trigger!! I had to look this up because I thought mine came fuc*ed up from the factory! Thanks for the video Matt
Ok so if I understood, this model is not bad for a cheaper electric power washer. I just got my karcher 1700 so I can't look back now. I don't recall seeing anything bad about it and GPM and PSI very close?
Can I use this without a water hose? I wanted to connect this to a power inverter and drop the other end of the hose in a tub of water. Will that be sufficient?
Totally agreed, same as my SPX3000 that cost me $90, no change, that extreme name is a joke. Looking forward to the AR613 and how that stacks up to the AR630, since I'm looking to my next step to upgrade. Thanks for doing this Matt, great stuff man.

To me, it sounds like metal on metal like the cylinder bore being scraped by an un-lubricated piston. But, I’ve gotten about 5 years out of it & a bunch of bigger fence & siding cleaning projects out of it. I was curious if a bigger pump from another Sun Joe would fit into the same housing. Hi Matt. If I were to use the Sunjoe hose and only get a gun+wand combo, how can I QD the PW (male 15mm) to the hose (female 15mm)? Does it matter which way water flows through a QD? (Coupler to plug, or plug to coupler). Thanks.

Hi. Just interested in a electric power washer for my detailing business. I want something dependable . What would you suggest? And if you suggest a better gun for it also.
So for a gas pressure washer rated at 2600 psi and 2.3 gpm what would be the proper nozzle for Detailing 4.0, 4.5, 5 the MTM chart doesn't seem correct
The Sun Joe SPX 3000XT1 is my first electric pressure washer. Not a huge fan as you cannot replace your gas unit with this, not even close. In addition, "WTF,” just know that what you get with this kit, is all you are going to have as far as accessories. Their hardware fits no standard pressure washer fittings/accessories you can purchase. They do not even sell accessories. You are out of luck, or you must do a lot of shopping for adapters. I like the smaller "guns" instead of those big, long wands that come with most units. My main use for the Sun Joe was to spray tight areas like the underside of my Z-Turn to keep it new, etc. Their so-called customer service would not even give me the fittings sizes as "why would I need to know that!" Lost 15 minutes of my life on that call.
Great series. Not sure if Nilfisk is available in the USA, but wondered if you had any views/experience on their consumer offerings, particularly their Premium 180 model (2.4-2.7 gpm), in the UK it's half the price of the Kranzle 1152TST (although it has a 10m rather than a 15m hose).
Got the Active PW based on a TH-cam vid. Tested just about 2 gpm (1100’psi/3.0 nozzle) the hose it comes with is legit. Also like the fact you can suck from a pail is cool.
I just picked up the AR Blue MAX2200 it’s updated version of the older 2200. I’ve been very happy with it. Upgraded the hose and all the fittings to SS quick disconnect with MTM SGS28 gun and OG spec SS wand.
Well I just received mine a week ago and this is the updated version of the max. I did watch the video of the old max which I saw you test and I know it sucked lol- I did my own testing with it yesterday and it works perfectly with all the upgraded fittings that I ordered from OG. Tons of water flow not too much pressure. Rated at 1.2GPM. Which I know is not the best but it’s doing a good job. However I did tweak the setup of course I’m not using any of the stock parts. Only thing I’m using is the motor. Using the Kobra jet 75 foot cable- stainless steel quick disconnect fittings- OG spec wand using MTM SGS28 Gun- MTM foam cannon. I had the Stanley 2000PSI and that sucked horribly- sold it and got this one. My goal is to get a Kranzle setup for my new house- but that’s still about 17 months away. The other budget friendly pressure washers that I saw also the ones that you reviewed. I don’t know they just seem really cheap looking I didn’t like the fact that they just look so bad.
I have a 2022 Red Mist C8 HTC Corvette. It began to hit the road after the stones and anti skid material came off the roads here in PA. I decided on the SunJoe 3000 and have used it several times on my vehicles. It does a good job for what I wanted in a pressure washer at under $200. I did purchase some additional accessories and needed to buy an adapter for a short spray gun. I hate the brake dust that the C8 generates on my OEM Stock silver wheels. The wheels were Ceramic Coated as well and that seems to help somewhat. Hey Matt, have you considered a C8 ZO6? I don’t know if it would be an asset to your channel, I don’t see why not, but the base C8 is hard to get and a lot of the dealerships are probably going to ADM the car from $5,000 to $200,000 above MSRP. Yep, the C8 market is crazy. Flippers are making as much as they can. Used C8s are bringing a lot of Cash above their Sticker Price. My story in getting my 2022 C8, is for once “I was the guy at the right place at the right time”…. 👍👍 We were coming home from visiting friends and got off the PA Turnpike. I asked the wife if she was OK at stopping by one of our local Chevy dealerships. We were returning earlier than usual, so she approved the stop. It was 7/20/2021 and upon entering, I asked to speak to their Corvette specialist or manager, but was told both were on vacation. Anyway, I asked if I could get on their C8 reservation list, but was told: “We don’t have a list”, it’s going to be the first person through the door with a deposit of $5,000 that’s going to get an allocation and it will be sold at MSRP”! So, I left the dealership knowing that 4-5 people have shown an interest in buying a C8, but no deposits have been placed. I need to discuss this all with my wife tonight and get there tomorrow if we agree on building a C8. I have Pancreatic Cancer and have been on chemo for 3 years. We have been good savers and have the money to do it, so she was ok in getting the C8. If something happens to me, she can decide if she wants to keep the car or sell it. I made a point to have her watch some of the videos on TH-cam to show here she should at least get the money back for possibly above what we have in the car. The next day, I arrived at the dealership a half hour before they opened. After going inside, I found out that the primary salesperson and the manager were not coming in, that both wanted an additional day off. I asked, if possible, to place my deposit with them and they were ok in taking my deposit. Having done that, I was assured I would be the first person in line to receive an allocation, but there was no idea as to timing that event and the $5,000 deposit would be used towards the build. Additionally, dealership policy is the deposit is non-refundable from this point on. 🤔 7/22/2021 I met with the salesman and manager to discuss the process. I had worked on a tentative build which Gary, the salesman, placed into the GM System. I was informed I could make changes to the build up and until the order is accepted for production. From 7/22/2021 until what turned out to be 11/11/2021, some changes were made. The wife asked me to try to keep the build to around $80,000. Well, after a discussion in early November, some dramatic changes were made. We decided to go with a convertible instead of the coupe and added the front lift. Those and a few additional options took the build to just over $90,000. Thankfully, I’m not a big fan of Carbon Fiber, so I ended up with a fairly loaded C8, but without Carbon Fiber except for that CF that comes on the GT2 Seats.
I bought one Covette, a C7 Z06. I had it for about 6 months and hated every second of it. Once you do high-end German sports cars, it's really hard to go backwards.

With my illness, it’s just not practical to have the BMW I feel sometimes. Travel even short distances in the C8 is troublesome on occasion. I hope you went to cash in December 2021! I had thought about it, but the wife thought otherwise. Well, loss is just on paper and hopefully the rebound will come back next year.

What do you expect for $150.00? Not everybody who buys a pressure washer wants to go in business. You certainly know how to accentuate the negative. Depressing video.
Sun Joe is a terrible Chinese product ... their electric pressure washers don't last and have this chirpy feminine sound to them. I think a manly 3200 psi gas powered pressure washer they have for sale at Home Depot is the way to go and you can adjust the pressure down as needed too. I bought a better version at Home Depot in Canada made by BE The gas powered units run better, last longer, and do the jobs faster. My first gas powered unit has lasted over 15 years so far and still going strong, and now I have this new BE unit. Gas powered pressure washers are like a Porsche 911, whereas most electric pressure washers (like the Sun Joe) are like Chevy Pinto's lol

@@ObsessedGarage There’s a TH-camr, Fred’s Full Throttle, he does mostly reviews on Corvettes, but he did a Track Experience with Porsche and he loves them.
You, I believe lived in PA some time ago. I’m in the Altoona area. If there was a dealership in our area, I might consider a Porsche, but there’s not.
I have a BMW 328 X drive, and need to drive to State College or Johnstown to a dealership.
Matt I know you have a few cars at the moment, and a lot on your mind. Would you ever consider making a obsessed c6 corvette ?
Definitely not. I am one and done on a Corvette.
2 year warranty, the Karcher is a much better deal with 3 yr warranty.
You didn't test the ryobi RY1419MTVNM 1900 psi for 160 or 150 on sale. So don't say all of them.
C’mon Matt... can’t forget to tare the scale! Just giving you a hard time, you and your team are doing great work!
Cleanest Swisstrax ever.
I just bought mine for $30 brand new at Home Depot 🤣 yay Black Friday
Ha, ha... You wasted 30 bucks.
@@ObsessedGarage so negative towards people that don’t have TH-cam money and 1000$ for a pressure washer.
lol how did i get here? great video
Awesome video brother
New subscriber here
I'd like to see the k5 Karcher
He did one
That is a bad one.
Sunjunk sucks. Video looks really crispy keep it up
SOUND ON! especially for those SS QDs! lol
"It's gonna take you 7 years to do it" 🤣😂
Nice one guys
Karcher or sun joe ??
He answers that in the video
Karcher k1700 cube allday
The SunJoe has a really weird Chinese pump. The Karcher is at built to their spec.
Got one of the last Kranzle K1322TS super excited. Well before the recent supply chain issue
Thanks for letting us know. Awesome!
the ryobi numbers are accurate
Swisstrax weird flex but okay 😂😂
Hey Matt. I sent you an email today. If you get a chance, check out the AR613. Pretty stout specs for $600.
Sun joe just sold out.
Too technical and lengthy
So it's still garbage for the most part and at $240. Rather get a Karcher K5 for $227.
Yep... K5 isn't any good either.
@@ObsessedGarage better option. Definitely wasn't trying to say it was a great pressure washer. LOL
Get that you’re an expert but the way you talk, you sound like you’re so much better than everyone. Tried listening to your personal stuff and seems to me you haven’t learned. I will now not watch anymore of your content.
That sound like you made up some story around something I'm not saying. I'm just talking.
@@ObsessedGarage dont listen to that idiot. always going to be a hater or two
What do you expect for $150.00? Not everybody who buys a pressure washer wants to go in business. You certainly know how to accentuate the negative. Depressing video.
S DD
Sun Joe is a terrible Chinese product ... their electric pressure washers don't last and have this chirpy feminine sound to them. I think a manly 3200 psi gas powered pressure washer they have for sale at Home Depot is the way to go and you can adjust the pressure down as needed too.
I bought a better version at Home Depot in Canada made by BE
The gas powered units run better, last longer, and do the jobs faster. My first gas powered unit has lasted over 15 years so far and still going strong, and now I have this new BE unit.
Gas powered pressure washers are like a Porsche 911, whereas most electric pressure washers (like the Sun Joe) are like Chevy Pinto's lol
