  • G'day guys!
Back in the shed looking at the engine today, but it was an absolute scorcher of a day so I didn't manage to get a whole lot done before I decided I should head home. The camera managed to get through a couple hours which is better than I was expecting. Slow progress today, but progress nonetheless.

    About The Boat:
The Enchantress is a 1973 Formosa 41ft Ketch Sailboat, designed by William Garden and built by the Ta Chiao Brothers Boat Building company. It's fair to say that she has definitely enchanted me, and I want to bring her back onto the water with some simple restorations, plus add some modern items to make this a very live-able and enjoyable sailboat! I bought this boat second hand for $500, because I figured the sailboat was far too beautiful not to be restored. I love getting my hands dirty and doing DIY projects.
So if you love sailing, sailing boats, restoring old boats, or just want to learn more about how to repair an old fiberglass sailboat like this one, stick around and follow my adventures as I attempt to restore a sailboat for the first time.
