So funny, I just made (210) 3 1/2 circles! Preparing my winter hand appliqué blocks, to sew while watching football with my husband 😂 I’m going to make an old vintage 1930’s Kansas City Star pattern called “Rolling Stones”. I made my circles just like you, except I cut my inside circles out of the backs of old Christmas cards. Reused beautifully. Also, (prepared 10 threaded needles ready at a time) I hand sewed around instead of using my machine (didn’t even think to do this). I did 20 at a time and starch works really good! Love my circles, (KH)
Cute block. Thank you for demo with such pretty fabrics. Your quilt is beautiful!
Best instruction for circles I have seen. Thank you.

I never thought about using the machine to gather the circle. Thanks for the tip

That's amazing! I googled the pattern to see it but couldn't find it. I bet it's fantastic. It sounds like you had a great set up!!

I always made the round shapes like that, but lately, I’m making them by hand. It takes me about the same time😊😊

Great tutorial, thank you 😀
Always learning from you 😊
I appreciate that!
You are so clever❤
I have both machines. My Bernina is older but still a great machine, my Juki is my work horse. Especially for bags or thick projects.
They are both great in their own ways! I do use my BERNINA for thick projects/bags- my Juki struggles there.
Excellent tutorial/tip.

Excellent! How will you appliqué these circles? Hand stitch or machine stitch ? Buttonhole stitch? Have any tips for us?
I was planning to hand appliqué them but I changed that an am doing it by machine.
