    Love watching you finally organise everything

    When you move your launch platform note it's waterproof, and it's actually super convenient to put it on the bottom of the lake. That way, instead of going up the stairs and climbing the ladder you can just utilize water surface to jetpack straight to top.

    Personally, I love the open feeling that the glass roof gives to the T1 Biodome. When I unlock it, I move my base into that (adding storage and crafting machines). I attach the Biolab to that, and put all my Food Growers in there, and everything else lives outside (one small building for Heaters until I get the T4 units). It feels so nice looking up and seeing it rain while I work :)

      There's Living Compartment+Dome that one can build later.

      You can give glass ceilings to your normal compartments (But I agree that the biodome feels much nicer)

    I watched the whole vid. Didn’t mind watching the organizing. Huh. Interesting.

    I love that you’re organising things in an episode! I would fully support no non-recorded play (maybe being .5 episodes) as it makes me feel like my rearranging and collecting time isn’t me just being slow at the game but actually playing correctly!

      yeah quill really not understanding that people who watch him regularly are not looking for fast paced action.we want all the "boring" parts. but i understand him wanting to be able to think slowly not having to worry about talking while thinking.

    Quill, you are going to want planters for everything you can grow, eventually.

    I love organizing my stuff so this was enjoyable for me even though it probably wasn't interesting lol

    I love the idea of leaving the old base as a historical monument.

    personaly i like having the small living containers at the middle as the spine of the base and then big ones on the side when needed,that way i can also have narrow hallways, which is great to have food growers next to the wall on both sides for example.

      @hubertnnn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I found that a row of small compartments with windows (as spine) and a small compartment every 3 sections (ribs) as hallways into a big compartment looks amazing.
      Especially if you put a row of T2 vegitubes on each side of the spine with all the seed types acting as flower museum.

    Organization episodes rule. I feel I subconsciously learned a lot of little tricksfrom quill that I use in my own games all the time

    I kinda wish i flooded my base so i got forced to redesign my extremy janky setup before i put so much storage in it.

    Mabye not the most exciting episode, but it is nice to see Quill finally thinking things through. I hope he extends this attitude to his terraforming.

    I've build all my lockers sideways. That way you can fit more storage into the same space. Then I build signs (just 2 cobalt) onto them. The signs overlap, but it looks good.

    This episode of Planet Crafter Quill plays Subnautica.

    Is there an experienced planet crafter that can answer this.
    If Quill had moved the door on the original base to the second floor. Would the first floor have remained dry and intact?

    Adventure. Excitement. A Planet Crafter craves not these things.

    Quil Please ! Make the base a bit pretty.
    Half the game is building a beautifull base, not some square, efficient monstrosity.
    Throw some windows and glass ceilings around, or make use of the biodome.
    I figure you are binging this game so you'll probably read this in 8 episodes time ;)

    As to your concerns about Biodome2, it's very rare to need tree bark. My advice is to put 3 domes (2 bio + butterfly) on top of your base, it will look great. Biodome2 centrally with ladder to it, Biodome1 there's no reason to ever visit, and Butterfly you visit just few times over entire game, so external door you need Jetpack for is fine

    • @hubertnnn
      @hubertnnn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wasnt there a giant tree in the middle of biodome 2?
      The central ladder wont work, or will it?

    • @varthaner4617
      @varthaner4617 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hubertnnn You don't want central ladder anyway, since Tree Bark is gathered at ends. Even if you were allowed to put it on the soil part, you'd have to walk to either end and back every time.

    Quill finally being smart is rewarding. Sort of. I kinda enjoyed seeing him screw up everything and misinterpret all the stuff.
