Route 66! Adventure, History, the romance of the road! Any trip on America’s highway is going to be an experience, but knowing the stories behind the living towns, abandoned buildings, and roadside attractions makes it that much better!
Come along to the last town bypassed by the interstate, Williams Arizona to peer into the past, see filming locations from an 80s classic located right on Route 66, then travel down the old mother road to Flagstaff, a town that’s usually skipped through quickly by travelers, to find the site of the old black cat cafe and hear about a true old west saloon kerfuffle, the origin of the famous muffler man at the original lumberjack’s cafe - and then we can’t forget Winona! Discover the site of the original stop and trading post that likely inspired the line in the Bobby Troup / Nat King Cole / Chuck Berry classic song!
