My wife insists on watching your channel - she loves Montana. We live in Africa. Honestly I was not a complete fan BUT after this video I am a firm fan. MORE of these type of videos please. The USA is such an awesome place. What a blessing to be born there.
Great Video! I loved the orange sweater in the showcase by the organ. My mother's fellow nurses called my mother Griff as her last name was Griffith. Thanks for showing it.
I really enjoy watching your TH-cam Channel, Russ, especially these longer videos. 👍👍👍👍 I even go back and watch them again. You really film really great museums. I wish you safe travels, Russ. Talk soon, Alan
Aloha Russ. Dis is Jesse From da Big Island of Hawaii My wife & I have been to Kingman & Grand Canyon before we've also traveled most of Norther CAL. U R definitely "DA MAN FOR VIDEOS & HISTORY OF SMALL TOWN USA" Love it KEPP UP DA AWESOME WORK 🤙😊😎
I took Amtrak and it went through Alpine, Texas and it was long but fun. I decided to take the train instead of flying back from California in 2018 when my mom was sick in the hospital.
The big green statue is called "Giganticus Headicus". You missed the Bonelli House built in 1915 and the Elks Lodge built between 1903-1913 both in old town Kingman. Lots more to see in old town. When they get the Beale Street project finished you should go back and do another video.
Always loved coming into kingman from the west on 40 when you pass through the rock formations up on the hill. No way you can miss the change in environment. Working on the rv this afternoon as I'd love to head over there but gosh - gas is heading towards 6/gal and in some places out west, way over. Even in the little toyota it's still going to hurt a bit. I'm tempted after seeing this vid. It's full-on spring now, ... but today nature told me the edge of summer is real close. She's just opening her eyes a bit early after winter hibernation. If you're going to visit the desert, do it before the heat or it'll be another year when it's cool and fuel could be even more. No wonder hobos riding trains are making a comeback. Hey,...the train passes through kingman now that I think about it. Get my can of beans and hobo bindle ready, LOL. Another good one here Russ. Cheers. 👍
Thank you Russ for taking us back to Kingman where my husband and I visited in February 2ooo. My how it has grown. Enjoyed the powerhouse museum. Keep on vanning. Aloha😊. Mahalo(thank U) from Hawaii
We did the Route 66 last summer June & July. Loved it but was so hot 110-115, crazy. Russ you inspire all of us RVers to go see the great USA. Love out west, still waiting to go to the 4 corners and Lake Havasu.
🌞🌵 Loved this! Thank you❤ We live in Vegas and just did a nice drive to Kingman and surrounding stops along the way and loved it! Really hope and still waiting for you to do a video of Hemenway park in Boulder City to see the big horn herds that roam there and Clark County Museum is a must! a very special place to not be missed 💗love and safe travels to you
Loved your tour of Downtown Kingman!! Not sure if you knew of mosaic Chuckwalla lizard at 4th and Route 66. Really have enjoyed all your videos. It’s hard for me to take long trips. So happy you provide a way for us to go along with you. You also do all story boards and out of way places. Keep it up. Too cool for school!!!!!
I really enjoyed this video and one of the things I kept thinking about was you need to do more on the western slope of Colorado. Your trip from Durango to Ouray was my introduction to RVerTV and I have been hooked ever since. I lived 25 years in Colorado and travelled extensively throughout the Mountain West and I am totally biased towards Colorado, but one thing you need to checkout is the Dinosaur National Monument in north west Colorado but the entrance is near Vernal, Utah where part of the exhibit is seeing where they are carving out of a rock wall dinosaur fossils. Love your channel and if you want real Civil War history you have to chase the heat and humidity in the Deep South. I grew up 45 minutes away from Pittsburg Landing or the battlefield of Shiloh in western Tennessee. That is real history.
Will be doing some work on my property in Yucca in a few weeks,i will be stopping in kingman [work materials] and take a spin on rt,66,thanks for the tour,Russ
Enjoyed the videos very much. We’ve been to the Grand Canyon a few times but never stopped in Kinsman, hope to make the trip again and will definitely stop and explore the town ❤
There's still spots of route 66 that are dead end you have to backtrack to the exit you got on at in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma. You have to get back on I40
Great video bring back memories .. IMO this stretch of rt66 from Oatman to Williams AZ best in America. Did this scenic stretch many times, on our cross country trips from Pa. A few notes I would like to add. How did you not show the El Trovatore motel in Kingman. Icon motel of Kingman and you were only a block or 2 from it. So scenic especially at night with the100 ft high neon sign lit up,longest map of Rt66 mural-ed on the walls of the motel and on and on. As for the General Hackberry store, previous owner from Chicago had a beautiful 1950's Red Corvette displayed along the pumps. GHS beautiful then, more or less now a gift shop.. but a definite 30 minute stop also miss the old Rt66, Burma -Shave signs he had displayed a few ft apart..entertaining messages that were displayed along old Rt66.... Again great video and detail. Skip boring I40 and enjoy the Mother Road Rt 66..this section cant be beat...
The "Old Post Office" was originally a Liquor Store. Old Trails Liquor. The old downtown post office is down the street from the courthouse on the corner of 4th and Oak. It's now the City Engineering Office. And Mr. D'z is really hit and miss. A lot of locals aren't fans of Mr. D'z. Since the original owners sold it's not been the same.
He Russ we saw your reflection at the Dunstan company on your walkthrough of Kingsman what kind of camera do you use for trying to figure out by the reflection. Thanks
Love to watch your travels! Can fall asleep at nite traveling with you, but 🤣if I do, the sound of your feet walking on gravel startle me wide awake straight up in bed!So...if you could fix that😅🦶🦶🤫❤❤❤😊🤣🤣🤣
I liked the video of Chloride, but I don't like that the miner's "painted panels " are so close to such an important gift of the past by the Ancient Puebloans.
is this video is made newly ? because i saw this video before .probably you cut it from your earlier video and post it again !? or maybe i saw this area on other channel. but it seems i saw yours .
Amazing video. Brings back so many memories. Next video in Kingman though could you show the new part of town. Not downtown but more of the other part of the town. Please
My wife insists on watching your channel - she loves Montana. We live in Africa. Honestly I was not a complete fan BUT after this video I am a firm fan. MORE of these type of videos please. The USA is such an awesome place. What a blessing to be born there.

1:10:07 the Green statue is “Giganticus Headicus,” a 14-foot tiki statue created by artist Gregg Arnold 💚.

You gotta love a 1950s police car with a 1980s bar light. 😊
Great tour. Wife and I need to go see Kingman.
I took Amtrak and it went through Alpine, Texas and it was long but fun. I decided to take the train instead of flying back from California in 2018 when my mom was sick in the hospital.

Dear Russ, the train museum in Kingman is just that a museum. The train don't stop here anymore. To board Amtrac you have to go to Needles.

I’m going there with one of my kids this May
Who doesn't love a train? They truly are so romantic! (Of course I don't travel in coach if I can help it, so that helps)! :)

Went to Kingman 10 years ago from australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺….seems little has changed 🇦🇺🇦🇺

hey Russ. so is most of your narration done as voice-over or during filming?
Nice prospecting area not far from Vegas.
He Russ we saw your reflection at the Dunstan company on your walkthrough of Kingsman what kind of camera do you use for trying to figure out by the reflection. Thanks
Keepers Of The Wild in Valentine.
Question: around the visitor center and others is there parking for RVs?

I liked the video of Chloride, but I don't like that the miner's "painted panels " are so close to such an important gift of the past by the Ancient Puebloans.
There's also a little racism in the restaurant. I used to like Chloride.
❤❤
is this video is made newly ? because i saw this video before .probably you cut it from your earlier video and post it again !?
or maybe i saw this area on other channel. but it seems i saw yours .
I now think that a new long videos are the old trips, lol
Is this a new video?
I think walking around downtown worked better for the video
The Amtrak Southwest Chief will take you from LA to Chicago.
I think Mad Max drove a Javelin?
Looks like the road is horrible like many AZ roads
Bla-bla-bla, regular visitors can't take a visa to USA
🕊 Route 66🛣
Traveling with RVerTV 🏜 🚐
Safe Travels 💞
Amazing video. Brings back so many memories. Next video in Kingman though could you show the new part of town. Not downtown but more of the other part of the town. Please
