I’ve spent well over 100+ hrs in Astral chain. Til this day one of my favorite new Switch Exclusive IP. Really hope we get a sequel. My favorite thing astral chain is definitely the combat system, it’s also cool that there are some neat bits of hidden Techs that the game doesn’t teach you that you can learn on your own as you play the game and experiment via the training room. I loved the linear based locations you explore like the Ark mall, the central metropolis area. Easily one of the best looking games on the switch. And The soundtrack I go back and listen to quite often. 2019 was a pretty good year when it came to being a Nintendo switch owner imo. Daemon X Machina was another game that kinda got forgotten after its release. And while it got a PC release, I feel like that game wasn’t able to get much attention after that. Thankfully the devs for Daemon X Machina already did announce plans and are currently working on a sequel for the game. Hopefully that sequel will be available for the next Nintendo system.
This game is amazing it reminds me of Chaos Legion for ps2. I didn't like the investigating parts to much but it was okay, the one thing I didn't like was this extra special chip you have to find to upgrade everyone special moves & this chip was veryyyyyyyy rare so that was annoying but it's a great game.
Arguably one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch. Absolutely sublime.
Such a great game can’t believe it didn’t do better in sales

2019 was a really good year you’re right. Also I completely forgot about Daemon X Machina I might have to revisit that one too
Thanks for the great review. I keep wanting to go back and play more of this game, but alas I've basically only gone through the intro so far.
Thank you for watching. I did a similar thing and didn’t play it through properly the first time around so had to finish it this time.
@@DansDistillery I'm glad you were able to finish it. It's really a unique game.
I completely forgot about this game. Thank you for reminding me about it.
