Well, there goes the theory of Double-A calling IndyCar on FOX. If you didn't know, he's from Indiana and was on the IMS Radio Network as a pit & then turn announcer for the 500 in the early 2000's.
Fox is likely going to bring back Bob Varsha as their play-by-play announcer for Indycar alongside the Canadian duo of James Hinchcliffe & a returning Paul Tracy. Bob has a deep history with Fox dating back to the SPEED days where he basically called everything that wasn't NASCAR related from F1 to Barrett Jackson. He also has a ton of experience calling Indycar as he called CART/Champ Car races for ESPN/ABC & CBS in addition to SPEED from the mid 90's-mid 2000's. Meanwhile Hinch & Tracy have tons of experience with Indycar as drivers & TV analysts so this is going to be a good booth for the first year of Indycar on Fox.

I really hope ESPN stops using the Sky Sports F1 feed next year & brings back the trio of Bob Varsha, David Hobbs & Steve Matchett (with Peter Windsor & Will Buxton as pit reporters) because they would be a significantly better fit for F1's goals in terms of growing the TV audience in the US.

Who will be the analysts? Who takes over Steve Letarte's position at NBC? Who will the CW team be for the Xfinity Series? As for Jamie Little calling Trucks full time, I was initially hesitant about it at first, but honestly, I feel like she has improved a bit from the first time she got the gig. Is there room for improvement? Yes, there certainly is. But honestly, I think I can live with that. Who knows? Maybe she doesn't do it and she ends up becoming the female pit reporter for Amazon/TNT or the CW, and maybe new talent takes over the Trucks broadcasts. There's still some questions that need to be answered in terms of broadcasters.

Kyle Petty is too much in my opinion he has some awful takes sometimes. But Wally really knew what he was talking about I think he would look great in the booth honestly bring him back. Even like I said Dale Jarrett isn’t even half bad he does a pretty decent job as well. I don’t know maybe you call Andy petree up haha
Maybe Jaimie Little goes back to IndyCar on Fox 🤔
im not so sure i want to hear Steve for majority of the year now with the addition to prime and tnt
Eric Brennan is the GOAT
ok you technically only announced the prime line up what about tnt
It's the same team for the 10 combined races between the 2. Plus most of practice and qualifying.
Careful Jaret. Cause now you'll have a BUNCH of people labeling you as a misogynist and woman hater for criticizing Jamie Little
nice use of the UK logo of TNT Sports in the thumbnail of this video 🫡🎊🔥🩷
Jon Ramos. Get him in somewhere.
and you talk reset, NBC needs to have a reset. Im still not sold on Diffy but Burton has to go
We want less of everything. They all talk way too much. We want to watch the racing not constant useless chatter like clint bowyer
Forget Larry Mac go with Hollywood Hamond yes Jeff Hamond
Bring back allen bestwick….somewhere…
I’m not a fan of the British/Australian guy calling the races. I’m sure he’s a good dude. Just wouldn’t be my choice.
I can't be the only one who can not stand Leigh Diffey!!
He is fine when he doesn't make every little thing a big deal. He has covered Nascar before so he should have knew already. Hes fine when he paces it like Steve and doesn't overpower everyone with his shouting excitement.

It's too bad no one is gonna watch the races cause of NASCAR being NASCAR (jerks they are)
Rick Allen should have never called races, he has no clue about racing by the way he talks. I was so glad he got replaced finally. He said the stupidest thing ever when Buesher won Richmond I started wondering if he was human or not. I was a better play by play at atomic calling dirt races.
