Primary Rules - These are the main rules of interpretation of statutes. These include:
Literal Rule of Interpretation,
Rule of Reasonable Construction
Golden Rule of Interpretation,
Mischief Rule of Interpretation,
Rule of Harmonious Construction
Ejusdem Generis
Secondary Rules - Rules other than primary rules are secondary rules. These include:
Expressio Unius Est Exclusio Alterius,
Contemporanea Expositio Est Optima Et Fortissima in Lege,
Noscitur a Sociis,
