I am from Prayagraj and the crowd is uncontrollable here. It's very difficult for us to step out nowadays. Roads are full of jams not even a single route is free.
Same thing is happening in Varanasi. Around 3: 45am we went to Ganga ji but while returning the main route was blocked and diverted to control the crowd. Very good arrangments have been done here. Yes for locals we have to adjust in the newspaper it is already mentioned which routes are diverted.

I'm from Allahabad, and the number of people who were coming for the Holy Dip was huge. The Administration was incapable of dealing with this crowd. The Government is also hiding the exact number of people who died and who were injured.

Sir, agreed with eyewitness as I was present there from 12 to 15 Jan with my senior citizen parents. Lapses from the management e.g shutting down transit, blocking roads with no alternatives, police unaware of local routes. Instead of guidelines, authority must arrange lanes for snan. As an aspirant, I realised the importance of pilot experiment, local stakeholders, implementation gaps in-person.

भगदड़ वाली जगह मेरा दोस्त वहीं था ....वह कह रहा कसम खाता हूं कभी नहीं जाऊंगा अब जबकि वह प्रयागराज में ही रहकर Exam ki preperation करता है,जब उसका ये हाल है तो जो बाहर से आए उनका हाल?
एक चीज बहुत गलत किया governmet द्वारा VIP लोग जिन्होंने पैसे देकर पहले से सब कुछ बुक कर रखा है उनको गाड़ी सहित जाने की अनुमति जबकि आम लोग 30-40 किलोमीटर पैदल चल के जा रहे
इदं हि गङ्गं त्यजतम् विहंगम् न पूनराप चङ्गम् यदि वापि चङ्गम्.......... चरणेमबु गङ्गां।
अर्थात गङ्गा में य गङ्गा के तट पर शरीर त्यागेन वाला सीधा मोक्ष का अधिकारी होता है उन्हें निःसंदे नारायण लोक की प्राप्ति हुई है 🎉

मैं 5 दिन पहले संगम घाट पर था, तभी कोई मंत्री आया था तो उसके लिए सभी मार्ग बंद किये थे, हमको हिलने की भी जगह नही थी। और अब मुझे लग रहा है कि अभी भी कोई VIP आया होगा तभी ऐसा हुआ होगा।

i am from Pryagraj ,i have seen the huge crowd kept coming ,and seriously this much crowd cant be handled by the UPPolice only, all the routes have been blocked ,even we the locals cant step out of the house.
i think Government should have been more aware regarding such situation ,any person can tell that stampede like casuality can happen but Still it happend and many devotees lost their lives.
Agar UP police department(law& order) ko pahle se bhir pata tha, Only police per jimmedari chhor diya, sena or paramilitary ki help kyo nahi li😡... Log/shardhalu bhi police ko sahyog kare/jo bataya jaa raha waise hi kare&usi anusar chalte rahe..👍

I am from prayagraj. Stamped occurred bcz log phle se jo phuche hai vo raste block karke wahi so rahe hai so ane jane ka raste narrow hogya hai. Police continuous bol rahi ha rasta block kar ke na soye jo phle ayaye hai vo naha kar jaye bcz piche se crowd ko ane ka jagah chahiye. Totally lack of civic sense
