Hi Brad! I’m a tattoo artist and ex-piercer. So other than your typical aftercare that you would be given, here’s some things you may not have known: As far as ear cartilage goes, it’s a safe assumption to take anywhere from 6-12months to heal. Yes a long time! The other thing would be to maybe chill out with switching up your hair looks. If that’s impossible to do, then just be extremely careful not to touch the ears! If that’s also incredibly hard….. then I guess ear piercings are not for you 😅. Otherwise, as far as healing piercings goes, the secret is simply patience and consistency with the aftercare. ☺️
I just dyed my hair flamingo pink and I have a big fro. I've been apart of the ALT community for years. I love our fashion and culture. These girls looked good to me regardless. Sometimes fails are a look.
If the second person had just done one bleach bath in the beginning they would have damaged their hair waaaaay less than washing it over and over with random crap 😭
I went from pink and purple to silver, and if it wasn't for brad and his videos of trial and error I would of not been able to do it. So thank you Brad for helping me achieve a color I was told I could never have ❤️
This is so funny because my emo soul is starting to resurface herself. Like I'm debating on putting black under my platinum/silver hair and re-stretching my ears 😅
Brad, about your piercing healing I suggest getting allergy tested for metals! I had the same issue and got tested for a completely different reason and turns out I’m allergic to gold, nickel and cobalt. That’s why I always was getting infected piercings even though I was cleaning them properly!
I just recently followed your tips to redo my hair...when I bleached: the blue cooperated. my red... that ended with me neon pink and I giggled for a good ten minutes and was very happy my plan was galaxy for after.
The ion cream lightener the second person had is actually pretty good! It has different oils and other ingredients that are good for your hair in it so it's not *just* drying out your hair. For that reason it's probably not as strong as powder bleach, but I do find my hair feels nicer with cream lightener.
Brad, thanks for being you. I have been exploring my home hair skills since having my 3rd bad experience at local salons. I bleached my hair and needed to see what not to do and knew u would deliver. You're AWESOME!!!
Brad is such an amazing person, TH-camr, hairstylist, and business owner!! He deserves the best things coming. I’d be stoked to ever meet him, let alone have my hair done by him 😂💜
I'm sorry, but I just love to see Brad just lose his shit over people doing questionable things to their hair. He chose the right profession to go into.
Honestly if anyone ever needs blue or green out of their hair: I did one quick bleach volume 20 and two treatments with Efassor (I think from L'Oreal? But the name is Efassor, it comes in small pink packages) in the span of two weeks and my hair was almost completely bright blonde (and mind you - the blue was in my hair for 8 years). I did that as a preparation for getting icy white hair at the salon and my hair dresser only had to bleach once with 30 volume before toning it and it was amaaaaazing. Also it still felt super healthy, even my hairdresser was surprised lol
The first one was so beautiful and I could see what they were going for but the execution wasn’t there, so the end product was a bit blotchy and it could have been a bit less dull (idk if that makes sense). The second one was so beautiful as well. They took us on a journey and the final product was actually not bad at all, I loved the pink color with the black, but I agree they should color the blond part in. I feel it kinda stuck out like a sore thumb from the rest of the look. either way both of them are beautiful and I hope they had a fun time and liked the end result or at least weren't too mad at it. Also, can I just say Brad looks so good with that Wolverine-esq hair. edit: Fixing my gramma lmao.
Brad is still sweet EVEN when she calls him a fraud , maybe his next video opening should start with his cosmo license plastered on the screen for like 30 sec straight

Brad, my doctor told me that if you have trouble healing from cuts, scrapes, surgeries, etc AND if you scar easily, then piercings are going to give you the same problem. EVERY piercing I have ever had got infected, even my ears, but I dealt with those and after many years, those are fine. The worst was my belly button, that ended up just being gross and I had to go on antibiotics, so never again.Soooo, maybe you too can't have piercings without your body rebelling! BTW, every piercing I have had was done in a very clean, professional situation... so it's just my body!
I know it’s a question of maturity, but If I was called out publicly for being “a fraud” i would’ve reacted way less better than Brad lmao Edit: I don’t speak English frequently, sorry if I didn’t express myself correctly :(
3:50 I think this only works with thick or coarse textured, and/or wavy to curly hair. My hair is super straight and also very fine, and a stylist once told me he hated cutting hair like mine because he had to be 👏PER👏FECT. A small mistake couldn't be hidden within waves or a tossle of locks, because my hair would lay so flatly on itself. ......so, that was the only time I went to him for a haircut.
You mean you don't hack at your own hair in the bathroom mirror with a straight razor and get away with it? 😬 I've got fine hair but pretty curly hair so I do my asymmetrical lob at home
Hairdressers love my hair because it's fine but ridiculously dense, so just a short trim results in a muppet on the floor. I usually go to trainees since they can fuck up but still get away with it. It's cheaper and they get training.
Brad is so far from a fraud it's not even funny. I have curly hair and his products are the FIRST and ONLY products to give me amazing results. You can't change my mind on that!

😶 I never knew blue was hard to get rid off! Just want to shout out to my hairdresser who got me from Blue to Orange the same day. This video (and Brad in general) made me realize that she rocks!🥰
You know when someone is talking crap about someone and they walk up and overhear the conversation and you make 👀 at them to try to get them to stop talking? That's how I felt when the 2nd person was calling Brad a fraud. 🤣😬
They were just joking. They didn’t say it angrily or aggressively, it was said in a teasing manner. Like when you call a sibling or friend stupid because you know they’re right. They even laughed at the end. 90% they didn’t mean anything by it

Right! I just started getting ready for work and I already took a half day… guess I’m still watching (I have time!) 🤣😜
Hi brad. I just wanna say I love you and your videos make me smile. I get really bad night time anxiety / panic attacks, so when I’m trying to chill for the night and laugh I put on your videos and they really help distract me and make me smile. That’s all - love you ❤️
I know I don’t know you but based off this comment you seem really sweet and kind and I hope your panic attacks go away💕✨ know that you are never alone and I’m proud of you!

Hi Brad! I’m a tattoo artist and ex-piercer. So other than your typical aftercare that you would be given, here’s some things you may not have known:
As far as ear cartilage goes, it’s a safe assumption to take anywhere from 6-12months to heal.
Why do my old piercings itch sometimes?
@@ttyngordon Its often times a minor allergic reaction to the material of the jewelry.
It also has to be said, don’t use a piercing gun/don’t go to Claire’s!! Made that mistake 😂
I got helix piercing done and in three days dyed my hair! A terrible decision
@@noot369 I went to claire's to get my first piercing. why not go there?
I just dyed my hair flamingo pink and I have a big fro. I've been apart of the ALT community for years. I love our fashion and culture. These girls looked good to me regardless. Sometimes fails are a look.

And the baking soda. What it does to my hands cleaning dishes is enough not to make me put it on my hair/scalp.

BRAD, YOU LOOK SO STUNNING TODAY. The look is so right.
Anyone else disappointed that they didn’t insert a pics of brads emo hair when he was talking about it?? 😂 the people want to see!
You are literally hilarious to watch. One of the only people I keep track of online because you are sincere and real.
Brad- you have produced a generation of hair artists 👏🏻 (50 year old hairdresser 😀)
Obsessed with Brad’s videos recently, so happy we have a new one now🥰 Hope you are doing great! ✨
Have you considered reacting to “What Not to Wear” hair makeovers? Some of them…a definite choice 😂
I'd love to see that.
I love how much you opinion has changed and grown over the years! You’re SO talented 🙏🏼🙌🏼
I went from pink and purple to silver, and if it wasn't for brad and his videos of trial and error I would of not been able to do it. So thank you Brad for helping me achieve a color I was told I could never have ❤️
I accidentally went from royal purple to hot pink on accident..... Dye doesn't take well on a natural redhead
This is so funny because my emo soul is starting to resurface herself. Like I'm debating on putting black under my platinum/silver hair and re-stretching my ears 😅
Do it! I love that look!
Go ahead we support you!

You all are awesome 🥺❤️
good luck on your stretching journey if you do 🤍
Brad, about your piercing healing I suggest getting allergy tested for metals! I had the same issue and got tested for a completely different reason and turns out I’m allergic to gold, nickel and cobalt. That’s why I always was getting infected piercings even though I was cleaning them properly!
That second person should be a Pro-Mondo channel. Would’ve saved them so time on their hair and probably wouldn’t be as damaged

The ion cream lightener the second person had is actually pretty good! It has different oils and other ingredients that are good for your hair in it so it's not *just* drying out your hair. For that reason it's probably not as strong as powder bleach, but I do find my hair feels nicer with cream lightener.

I'm sorry, but I just love to see Brad just lose his shit over people doing questionable things to their hair. He chose the right profession to go into.
Same 😂
Honestly if anyone ever needs blue or green out of their hair: I did one quick bleach volume 20 and two treatments with Efassor (I think from L'Oreal? But the name is Efassor, it comes in small pink packages) in the span of two weeks and my hair was almost completely bright blonde (and mind you - the blue was in my hair for 8 years). I did that as a preparation for getting icy white hair at the salon and my hair dresser only had to bleach once with 30 volume before toning it and it was amaaaaazing. Also it still felt super healthy, even my hairdresser was surprised lol
Effasol, I think
I love that I am not even interested in doing my own hair but I can watch Brad for hours!!
same
The first one was so beautiful and I could see what they were going for but the execution wasn’t there, so the end product was a bit blotchy and it could have been a bit less dull (idk if that makes sense).
Damn the first person....they could for sure wear any hairstyle and color under the sun. Gorgeous!

Your consistency and quality of content never disappoints!
I love how Brad tried to be mean with the 2nd person but ended up being super positive anyways 🥰🥰🥰

Yeah I was saying her thick wavy hair covers her the uneven cut because if it was bone straight as well as fine you could see it all!
My husband got turned away by a hairdresser once for the same reason.
