La Soufrière Volcano, St Vincent & the Grenadines 2020-2021 Eruption Timeline of Events

This timeline chronicles the key parts of our work during the latest eruption at the La Soufrière Volcano, St Vincent & the Grenadines. The volcano alert level remains at Orange and access to the it is still prohibited. This timeline was done under the Volcano Ready Communities Project (VRCP). The project is funded by the Caribbean Development Bank through The Community Disaster Risk Reduction Fund and implemented by The UWI-SRC in collaboration with project partners NEMO SVG, SVG Red Cross Society, Ministry of National Mobilisation Social development & Youth SVG & API - The Agency For Public Information : SVG. The UWI-SRC is the authority on geological hazards in the English speaking Eastern Caribbean and we continue to monitor the volcano.
