When Ahsoka returns to Home One, the ID code she gives is T6 1-9-7-4. Thats the month and year that Dave Filoni was born.
Loved how this show started off. I compare tasks like this (catching up half an audience on so much story in a short amount of time) to how it was executed with Fellowship of the Ring. There were easter eggs for hardcore fans, simple enough explanations for new or live-action-only fans, exciting moments, and emotional moments. Not to mention stellar visuals and music. Good job all around.

In Ep. 2 when Huyang talks with Sabine, I thought he would say something along the lines of..."but what you lack in Force awarenes, you can compensate with your rather...unique skills. You are Mandalorian...and the only time you're wasting..."

HOLY COW! That is a great detail linking the new, young senator back to the Rebels episode💛
I did not catch that at all and i just finished rewatching every episode of Rebels last week😅

Sabine, while she was laying out her armor, acted in the same manner as Kanan did in “Jedi Night”. She even moved the blade and cut her hair in the same motion.

I Dave Filoni we trust. He has such a passion for Star Wars, a knowledge of what came before, but not making it fan service. He truly cares about this story and the characters

Kind of a minor detail I noticed: the hologram effect we actually have seen before-the Umbara arc in Clone Wars, specifically on the Umbaran base that Krell & the clones capture.

I noticed some Easter eggs that hasn’t been mentioned that I know of. For example in Episode 1 at 30:15 mark at the foot of the bed is Ezra’s scout trooper helmet he wore in rebels. And Episode 2 at 5:14 Baylon sees Purgill in the clouds. Sooo cool!

I thought I saw Ezra's painted up scout trooper helmet in shadows when we first saw Sabine in her "house". Also, the hair cut scene Sabine did was VERY similar to the one that Kanan did at the end of Rebels when he cut off the pony tail in deference to his mullet!

the predictability of the show shows their contempt of human intelligence >or maybe it shows their intelligence ?< finished episode 1 I bet the apprentice lives just watched episode 2 I was right want to know what happens at end / they sort of win 4 now all enemies not destroyed that leaves the story open so can make more

Loved both episodes! Loved that they revealed a Night Sister! The only question I have is, Y would a Night Sister be helping the Empire to rise again? The Empire Destroyed her home planet and all her people! I know Dave will explain it all eventually though. 😎

The night sister reveal was really amazing. But, Dooku, General Gervious, and the droid army killed the night sisters before the rise of the Empire. The massacre happened 20 BBY.

The CIS massacred her family, not the Empire. If anything the Empire crushed the CIS and i think that's why she joined the Empire.

The opening bit with the star destroyers are also an homage to the openings of the movies with a star destroyer. But in the movies we see the underside of the imperial star destroyers but in this one we see the top of the new republic ones mirroring them and showing how they've changed.

I'm glad some people enjoy that, and I don't wanna sound like the Disney haters, but the ST honestly makes so little sense that I don't think it's salvagable, and every attempt to tie in the OT/New Republic to it just drags them down and makes me a little more depressed because it just reminds me all over again that none of this really matters because the ST is just gonna destroy it all anyway...

What if they change something in the past, and it creates an alternate future, where Luke never leaves the Jedi Order. But there are consequences to changing things in the past.
Basically, we get a new different sequel after Return of the Jedi.

Tantive is pronounced "tan-ta-VEE", as canonized in the Radio Drama and audio books.
General Rieekan is pronouned "ry-KIN" as spoken by Solo and Leia in Empire.
Two tiny pieces of feedback, loved the videos an all of the references!
I hope they continue to dive into this era and take inspiration from Andor (and ignore Kenobi compeltely).
    Cheers!

It's amazing to see the characters from Rebels come to life! Great casting, for the first 2 episodes, for all the main characters: Ahsoka; Sabin; Ezra; Ryder; and even Chopper. However, I'm not crazy about the casting decision for Hera.
