I love this, they need to make a whole map that’s just underwater , that would be fun
one problem non water mobile suits will be slow maybe to slow
Or they should just do something like Torrington base where it’s half water and half land
That would be a problem for players who entered just entered the game for the first time as they would not have suits to meet the cost and water terrain.
They could do the island like in zeta vs Gundam
They can make it into its own game mode?,
I kind of wish some of the aquatic suits got forced injector in the water.
Its got to be terrifying for a tank to see an aquatic raid to emerge from the water
I read what the devs said about making maps that play differently so that they aren't all just themed versions of the same lanes and this map definitely stands out as unique. I personally love how differently it plays. Still feels weird for us to now have aquatic environments given how they were previously deemed impossible. Happy they kept working on it and got it in regardless.
Gonna grab a Ground Type Gundam and put on some jungle camo.
Also a couple things Flail, you’d have picked up in this eventually but, if you’re in an aquatic suit but the enemy suit is not when you’re in water and they aren’t you don’t show up on radar so unless their teams support shows your health bar on map you are invisible on map. With this being so, and the boost in speed and overall ability you get from being in water, it basically has changed the ZGok from trash to skillbased. If you can use the water and stealth benefits it gives you, you can do some really sneaky flanks and ambushes when people think you’ve retreated on aren’t even around in your team fights

I’ve been watching this guy for months if not a year and the epiphany just hit how friendly familiar and calming flailthroughs voice is, just a nice dude I’d love to just listen about their day.
The jungle map is absolutely fun, really enjoyed playing in it. Used the water in one of my matches to speed with my Zudah to the base to bomb them, they didn't find my MS until the very end of the match where I barely held them back.

Great video as always! I love this map. It's so disorienting but it's fun. I used the gouf flight test type to great effect here.
I'd love to see a map that's predominantly water, like maybe a map with a few small islands, or with warships out on open ocean, so you still have above water platforms for non-aquatic types, but the majority of the map is underwater. I don't think this would be well balanced, but it would be interesting.

Loving the heck out of this map from the little I played it. Had game as a Z’gok with a Zaku Sniper on the enemy team that kept standing a little to close to the river.... they had a bad time.
This was a VERY enjoyable match to watch!
Only thing that needs changed is make beams inoperable underwater.
It's pretty cool to see the Z'gok boosting up out of the water. Waterbot gang represent!

It looks like the amphibious mobile suits get a speed bonus in the water. I didn't hear you mention it but I was hoping for it and it seems it is in the game.
All they need is the jaburo music from fed vs zeon

The look of this map reminds me of how Mountain looked in GBO1.
I've done constant jungle battles the last few hours, oh my god its so fun, i was usually in my Z'gok or high mo Zaku, while a friend was raining shells in his MP Guncannon, we only lost one out of the 10ish we played, oh i love the water so much :3
Finally water maps I’ve been having a ton of fun on these I’ve noticed that they have opened up the meta some a lot of my games have had 2 raids if it’s water available and I’ve played some 2 support comps as well. It’s like in one patch they really upped the fun of game can’t wait til they do more with this new feature
I had soo much fun fighting on this map for the first time, I love that they added water to some of the maps, but has anyone noticed that the game looks a little different? It might be because I haven't played it for a while
I hope with the addition of water parts we can get some aquatic Feddy suits maybe the Aqua GM or Marine Type Gundam?

I did this early too and it was great to use zeon amphibious suits that get the boost to speed in water. I just stayed in the water with my z’gok the whole time. I felt like jaws 🦈
Just thought of an expansion to the water for the future. Put submersed capture points in the maps and give pilots scuba gear.
Actually... Apparently the pilots have gills.... No SCUBA required.

Ah never was a fan of using standard Z'gok always preferred the Z'gok E. But can't wait to run a GM sniper or gundam ground type on this map. As always thanks for the round rob.
It did just get a buff with this patch too, only takes two of those beams to stun now and some other stuff.

Oh nice there a debuff on damage for using beam weapons under water I notice that in the video on land you did 704 while in the water it was 645

Does hygogg also move fast under water? As far as I can remeber there is a part of an anime were hygoggs are attacking from underwater to surface and the gm cold districts are holding them off

I can't wait to use my zock in jungle, the only thing is that I wish the viability for amphibious MS was clearer from under the water and also that they would still be able to see enemy's in and out of the water on the radar
Haven't played the Jungle yet.. but the High Tide map's water are more clearer so targeting enemies underwater while on the ground is easier compared to in Jungle (i assume)
Plus i was against a bunch of Hygogs, those wide bois can be good water target practice
Nose dived with my zeta and hit the bottom QuickTime, it's good for transforming suits as you can move to the other side of the river quicker
there's something about the structure of this map that seems... notably familiar and I can't put my finger on it. At first I thought it may be a re-used map from Mobile Ops, but no.

I did a test run on practice for this map with my weird boomerang rockem sockem robot guy with a heat sword and a hygog I do have a zgok but what I want is a gogg and that big heavy lazer rocket thingy and the other one related to the hygog but man does the hygog get its jets cooled off fast in that river and shoots out like a croc

Not just a new map, they also added a variant of Port Base with the underground area of the map around waypoint C is underwater.

Wait, so I don't have a gouf flight type, but are they able to fly in the water because in the 08th MS team there was one scene were when it touched water, it short circuited
I'd say probably yes, because the water mechanics are pretty lazy. Pilots can be out and about under there without consequence even though they have no helmet on.
@@sethmiller2532 Also because gbo2 isn't true to the lore, for example you can't one shot a Nemo 3 with a zaku 1 sniper type and you kill a kämpfer in a few seconds with the Alex's gatling gun
Well the official update news says flight systems still usable in water.. so yeah..
And that pilot logic tho.. i got out of my MS in the High Tide map n my character's red hair was just glowing in water lolz

Are Amphibious MS invisible to Radar while Under water? They should be.
they have low level stealth I think, can't see them on radar from far away
@@dageman1 Not stealth exactly. Mobile suits above water have difficulties detecting mobile suits submerged in water and vice versa. Amphibious mobile suits don't have this problem.
