Yannic should definitely add an option to turn off photomode until a player finishes the track. That gives players the incentive to play a track normally if they want to look for cheese.
That is one of the options for turn off photo mode
That should be the standard, really.
What he should do is add an option where photo mode is off untill there's a specific amount of time left

This begs a philosophical question: Can Dapper make a shortcut so brutal even Dapper can't cheese it?
Hasn't he done it a few times. Made shortcuts he couldn't finish 😅
There was that one time he screwed him self out of first by not doing them all in a row.
Kan did this in a previous track with the rail grind-black ice-rail grind trick.

I was so confused by the times on this one! I couldn't understand just how people were getting those times. I was doing the cheese pretty consistently but had no clue there was a 2nd one 🤣 Well done my friend!

Dapper, you have a way to put cheese in cheese. Which is why I love you
I’m curious if you could turn a long oval checkpoint on its side but only have the top visible, be have a shortcut cutting through them under the map, they’d look and behave like normal checkpoints but they’d have room to hide alternate routes
Even a circular checkpoint sitting normally on the road has space under the road for other paths. And Dapper has used that in the past!
idea:hide a giant finish under the map waaay below so if you fall you dont see it.cheeze.

Dapper you should make a track that’s full of optical illusion meant to mess with people’s eyes and hide short cuts in plan sight but not in a wall ride over a gap instead a ramp that takes you into a whole different path with short cuts inside that
I love how your friends don't even engage with your maps, or consider their aesthetic value. They just load up your map and say "Where's the cheese?"
That was some gouda cheese. Especially when one has to work for it.

Gotta setup an early honeypot shortcut that people will go for/you can lead them into, then when everyone is just doing that, you ride past and go into a faster 2nd shortcut.

I still think you should make a normal track with zero cheese.
You should put an easily found cheese at the beginning so while everyone's trying that one you can go a little farther down the track to the actual cheese without being followed.

i hate how no one does the map normal, coz they think/know there is a cheese and it ruins the fun this maps design was 10/10 and i bet less than half the lobby saw/got to experience it
Make a track that's medium difficulty withh no check points, theln using haybails as the side walls of the entire track. Add 1 cheese that's hidden with a time trap.

how bout doing the same kind of hidden shortcut then make another faster hidden one further down track? everyone will spam the first ignoring the second
Make a track with easy to find hidden but fake shortcuts. Make them go int9 what looks like a short skill finish but the finish while it looks possible is actually impossible. This way they spend the whole race looking for and finding and trying to use the shortcuts but never being able to actually finish or at least not finish any faster then the official way.
Did you ever make the shortcut impossible on accident and then wondered why you can't pull it off?
